Most of the time it's about what is made , not so often about the machines and never about the men who designed them , they deserve our admiration as well..
Now I am certainly not a fan of music of any kind on a video, unless it is a music video of course - I am only a little more than a minute into the video by now, so far the music is not as bad, loud, schreechy anf annoying as in most other videos that are not specifically music video 😶
We use some of these machines where i work, gotta watch your hands and the other guy helping making sure he isn't in the way, and always wear safety glasses
The automation is increasing but those processes have been around since the days of the first blacksmiths, and in a basic form the machines have been doing pretty much the same since the industrial revolution
Wow cool , first time seeing this. I grew up across the street from a man named Raul Morals gone now, but he and two partners owned United Rolling in CA. And when someone came to them from the ANAHEIM stadium and wanted to build a BIG fn A in the parking lot Two guys walked away according to family ( cousin) so when you get a chance to see the big A in the parking lot like I do. Raul sed I'm a Angel fan!!. I see Raul , great Nabor alloways ready to help anyone, once a Marine always Marine.
Please for the love of Christ, can you include a caption telling us what everything is?!? I love this channel but it would be sooo much better/educational if we knew half of what was being built! Was that big bowl one of the ends for a giant tank? I need to know! Haha
*"Was that big bowl one of the ends for a giant tank? I need to know! Haha"* (9:50) ...He can't really caption the bottom section of a highly-classified Area-51 interstellar spacecraft. Men in suits and ties would be paying him a visit.
Impressed with the OP at 1:11 appeared to have all been by eye. Maybe muscle memory from production but still neat to be that precise without sight lines
Seeing all the heavy steel takes me back to laird's shipyard on the mersey as a boilermakers apprentice to my dad. This was the late 60s, The noise and smells of the place plus the fires and spark's going everywhere from different parts of the ship would be a vision of hell for a health and safety officer today. God it would be great if we had that industry back, it would give the youngsters of today some job security and the chance of a proper apprenticeship.
Used to roll scrolls by hand for wrought iron gates when learning the trade, by 18 i had a grip no one could beat and fore arms to match, 63 now, shake my hand mate lol !
@@tatumergo3931 Where would we even start if we lost all mass production factories and high precision machines? How did we reach this level of accuracy when I mean, shoddy tools making a little better tool through sweat and blood by engineers?
You should never stand directly in the path of that much force you should respect the amount of force and stand aside the direction of force as a precaution
I love videos like these. But I just can't help seeing all the safety infractions. No hard hats, ear protection, eye protection . . . steel toed shoes? maybe? Hmmmm.
1,500 thumbs down from those who were devastated after learning that coal is needed to produce steel... rather that windmills, solar panels, and interpretive dance...
