I think they look like "Steel Toenail Safety Sandals", and I know they all have their UL listed "Ear Wax Hearing Protection". Oh, and I do see the proper "Glazed Eye" vision protection, with (if you look closely), you will observe their hard hats, poking out under their hair.
What a freakin joke lol I am curious how many people have been seriously maimed in this mill? Not to mention the horrendous blade burning of the wood on the slab cut. All so they can waste a beautiful tree to make a bunch of bullshit 1x4's. SMH
It don't work like that i can see how some could think it but it just isn't so. Some blades need guides that flush fit the back of the blade some wheels are different there's several reasons why not. I've worked saw mills with bigger saws than this one and I've never seen that personally
Yeah there are a few vids on here where they have teeth both sides and it cuts on the return pass too big ones like this too , I remember thinking that’s literally halving the all the back and forth
You have to wonder how long, if at all, they had to let that giant chunk of wood dry before they cut it. By the looks of the wood I'm guessing not very long. Nonetheless it seems to be OK.
Wood cuts much easier when wet. Cut first, then stack lumber to dry. Also, whole logs crack badly because the outside of the log dries much faster than the interior. The outside of log shrinks as it dries and cracks badly. Much better to cut into lumber as soon as possible.
Hi, and greetings from Puerto Rico, I was wondering if there is a way you can ship to here a plank of the best wood you can find to build a Puerto Rican Cuatro (Cuatro Puertorriqueño you can look into the Internet under that name) which is an instrument of ten strings and also is our National Instrument. I am looking for sime wood that may have some characteristics like the ones founded on the Olive wood, it is like drawings on the wood. The wood have to be a of plank of a hard to semi hardwood with no crack or damaged wood. the measurements are 36" Long X 12" Wide X 4" Deep. I you or anybody out there can ship to Puerto Rico a piece of wood of these dimensions, please contact me. Respectfully,
Saw looks dangerous to operate. He is standing on hardly nothing. Has his arms stretched out over his head reaching for the controls. No eye protection. Maybe smoking.
Cette scie ressemble à une que j'ai utilisée... de marque CD.... avec laquelle je sciais des bois tropicaux énormes et dur...même du kevazingo!!!.. (bois de fer);......... avec une relative facilité!!..
pretty doubtful at least in the US, as there's the establishment clause, so it can not give deference to your religion, and wood products are truly the only sustainable building materials, other than some grasses.
Why shld you outlaw using those wood, they were grown for that purpose, there are trees that are not for furniture or aesthetic finishing, let those trees serve their own purpose, the reason God had it in this world is to satisfy our needs ,period wtf and who are to teach what is better for those wood.gdit.scram!
no gloves, no protective helmet, no safety shoes, no protective headphones, no dust mask the unfair competition of the extreme EAST, I see a worker in SANDALS...
Tom Smith My favorite was when the kid rides the giant machine by standing on the electric motor and holding on with his hands above his head inches from the rotating parts.
Then later, he balances himself on one foot, still standing on the motor with one hand inches from the spinning parts, leans way over and grabs the wood with his other hand and rides it the full length while operating the entire contraption.
With all else that is going on, I have to suspect their staff turnover is such that cancer never enters into the equation, the cameraman notwithstanding as he stands about trying to puke up a lung.
