Whaaaaaat! I love and appreciate all y’all for the awesome support you give me watching and sharing the videos! Let’s blow up rockhounding and show the world how this great sport can change their lives 💯🙏🙌💎💜
Nice job! I like the exploration on this one. I saw a lot of interesting formations and the colors are just simply amazing! How do you suppose that stuff is formed?
"Too bad it's not real gold" says everyone, every time they're hounding and find pyrite. Having said that, the kyanite/pyrite mix is amazing! Might have to buy some when you get it posted.
It’s all possible, mining for a living does offer lots of freedom but the money isn’t as much as other type jobs so there must be lots of sacrifices made to accommodate.
Thanks for what you do. I wish I wasn’t disabled. I can’t drive anymore to go anywhere. I have always got rocks every where we went. Of course nothing like this. Just cool rocks. My son goes to different place for true crimes and will grab me a cool rock. Him just walking around. I am just getting into stones like these. I wish I knew where there were.
Are you on Facebook by chance? I would like to send you some rocks that still have dirt and stuff right out of the pocket, as a gift, something you could do and clean them up, send me your address to my Facebook channel and messages, sometimes it takes me a while to get back but eventually I will get to it
My lifelong goal is being lived out by this man. I really hope I can go do the things you and Matrix do someday. Thank you for showing me how awesome Rockhounding truly is!!!
I am getting on in age, but use to dig and sell quartz in Arkansas. I miss those days. You make me want to mine at least one more time. N.C. THIS TIME. ML KEEP ROCKINGBIT!!!@
I just love kyanite because blue is my favorite color and the pyrite with it makes it even better.......I wish I had someone to go rockhounding with.......I think it would be awesome! Maybe someday?! Good luck in your travels and Happy Holidays from Southwestern, NY! 😄
@@Rikergremlin well, you mean legally, skip that for a min,I was in Daniel Boone National Forest and there are old silver mines there, they are right on the trail, and once your there there is other places around town like a ruby mine and other stuff like that, but no I've never been legally digging,I've always just done it,what are you digging for, what type of elements
Ah! So THIS is where some strange pebbles I found with bluish-white fractured rock impregnated with pyrite crystals caem from! I'm in the NJ Pine Barrens, where lots of beach-washed ancient inland dunes are located. You find mostly quartzite, but there are also small stones from clearly very distant locations mixed in, which likely migrated up the coast over eons. I found a couple that looked like they'd been crushed under immense pressure, and a different silica mineral had bonded the fragments back together and sowed small pyrite crystals into it. They look just like those samples you showed!
I live in Atlanta and have never been crystal digging but have been trying to for so long! I definitely gotta visit Graves Mountain it seems like a huge treasure trove!
What beautiful colours the different rocks are there Bryan. The different colours in the rock faces are wonderful just to stand and look at then going to see what has fallen and going through the rocks must be a great experience for a rock hound lol. Matrix digging was fun to watch, he is lovely and so affectionate which is great to see. I love that you are leaving rocks and crystals for others to find, that's such a wonderful idea bless you. Happy Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year to you and Matrix love and hugs Mary-Ellen UK
Yes this is the closest thing to rainbows forming on rocks! Such an awesome place, and y’all have a merry Christmas and a happy new year also! Hope it’s clear weather for you and you can see the alignment of the two planets tonight!
@@TheCrystalCollector I must remember to remind my son Steve as he has a telescope in his bedroom though a house a barn and trees tend to hide the South-East from our cottage. Steve also has a good camera so he could have a photo of it to show me. The colours do look like the rainbow colours don't they lol, beautiful. We knew one of my older nephews had the virus and now his Mum has the symptoms and his young brother is showing signs, another sisters family her daughter has an 11 year old with it and the son in nursery school sat next to someone who has it. That family is also in quarantine. They are all in a higher tier than we are and I am the eldest girl who helped bring them up and I am worried silly about all of our very large family. The few people I follow here on RU-vid are helping me enormously to stay as calm as possible for which I am so grateful Bryan. Thank you love and hugs my dear friend Mary-Ellen UK
Whenever I have gone on road trips, I have always liked looking out of the window at the sections of highway where they cut through a section of hill or mountain and you are driving between huge rock faces. (especially in SE Kentucky - so pretty) I often daydreamed about pulling over and finding something really cool. Is there anything worth looking for in those cut-throughs? (or am I better off searching gas stations for things you have left behind? haha)
The blue quartz is cool, up near me in Northern Virginia you can find buckets of the stuff if ya know where to look. Even found a solid chunk that weighs close to 20 lbs.
I have a chunk of Kyanite myself and it's actually bluer than these bois. It's darker though and the crystals are in a more defined form so this one piece is like a big rod-like crystal. Gorgeous mineral. A bit too brittle for my taste but it's still a beautiful mineral for the collection.
I saved a bunch of pyrite dust to one day make a really cool hourglass with it! Sometimes you spend so much time and energy breaking rocks that you might get better and more pieces picking up surface finds.
Nice 22nd comment! That’s my number! You and Matrix scored!!! I’m glad you found some cool rocks for me! LOL I’m at work right now... thinking bout diggin 😂
If you'd like that place there's a place called Willis Mountain here in Virginia and Buckingham County that has pop right and Kai night Miss just like what you are digging there, are some beautiful blue blades. Maybe sometime we can share pictures of the Kyanite/Pyrite mine from here at Willis Mountain. ⛏⛏⛏
Take a wheelbarrow next time! It is the perfect tool to get some larger pieces out. I have a 40 lb chunk of this same material that I would have been unable to get out any other way.
Hello and thanks for the beautiful and useful videos. I have a question and an inquiry. I live in a mountainous area. How do I know that the area in which I live contains precious stones. Please answer, if you please.
Great idea to 'hide and seek' these beautiful pieces. I hope someday you and Matrix will roll thru Delaware and do a little dig n hide. Waite ..is there anything to find in DE? Ah well, no matter I will enjoy watching where ever you go. So much fun following your adventures. You too, Matrix
Bought my first crystal from crystal collector today. Pyrite Kyanite will be here with me soon. I'm in Georgia no car , but since it is not easy to get to Graves Mountain I'll just shop here for now.💎want to know the spiritual meaning of Pyrite and Kyanite together? Combo
I love kynate with sodalite together.astral travel with the k..but the s brings you back easy rather than a crash landing back into your body. Wonder what kyanite an pyrite would do..lol havent tried that .yet..
I’ve done lots of meditation in the last 10 or 12 years, and I guess on one level I’m Astro traveling but I’ve never popped out of my body completely that I know of. Always wanted to experience that
@@TheCrystalCollector its wierd the first time..its like a vivid dream, outside your body, visiting past people or things, alot of deja vu next day..but..someone throws on a light or startled you..you " slam" back in ..i found sodalite helps you land softer..but..im one of them oddities..most people wake and dont land..i crash..watch myself hit into the ground..it sucks..or in my nightmares im out of body..and im sure others have it not just me..its not pretty..i dream in color.. I see happy things like im there..but.flip side..aweful..i see me in. A bad situation..but im sure im not the only one..they say we all wake up before hitting the ground? Who else dont lol but istill love kyanite..i have a long shard of blue a second of black. Someone taught sodalite helps ..it does..i have a glass of sangria put stones under my bean bag pillow..and dream..( small bean bag pillow on my big bamboo pillow or i have a sm pillow pocket and snuggle my bean bag pillow..to my solar plexus .( belly but lower..)) My 55 lb irish wolfhound head on my butt lol..first time..its freaky..but you can controll ir pull people and your dog in..then..its awesome id love to kno what pyrite does with kyanite
