I have seen you tube videos ,people are putting foam rubber under the front of the camera on this quad ,its stop the jitters on the camera recording ,seems to work ,thanks for another great video

Hi guys I have one of these, very bad jello, I packed some thin strips of foam between the top of the camera and the base of the quad, now maybe a small hint of jello, but a big improvement. Nice one guys, while you are shivering in the cold, here in Oz Christmas day we have 40 deg C.!!

Syma is on top of their game. I bought X5SW and its cool but this one and the FPV version is so much better.

If it was green and red,you could hang it on the tree. I like the design,agreed. Those screw drivers...oh my ! Its nice to see the gears are covered on the ends,its too easy to get junk in those open ended quads. I think they should all have covers over them. The lights are bright enough. You could hang a bunch of them on the tree.lol. I almost thought I saw snow there but it was just gravel. lol. You can have ours.

I watched the review of both versions and they are pretty good machines. Unusually though it seems to me that this camera has more jello/vibration than the WiFi version(?) Could be the wind with this flight though. - Nice reviews

You may be right about the wind being a factor here. The wifi version did seem to have much smoother footage for some reason.

I saw your video of the L6056 the other day and it looks to have a solid camera for much cheaper, comparing to this one. Which would you say is more fun or better overall? I always assume more expensive means better, does it make much difference within this price range? Thanks :)

I think if you don't want FPV, go with the L6, but if you want wifi FPV that actually works quite well, pull the trigger on this one's bigger brother ;-) Hope that helps!

We love the colors on these :) Sadly there was a bit of jello, but it flew so well! I think the FPV one had better video quality when it saved, so maybe we had a bad camera or something. Happy New Year to you too!

I have just purchased 2 upon your recommendations and have not been let down yet. I would like to purchase a nicer drone in the future but would also like some longer flight times. Is this a realistic possibility without breaking the bank.

How long of a flight time are you wanting to hit?

In order to hit those longer flight times you'll probably need to start looking into much more expensive camera platforms such as the Xiro Xplorer or even the overpriced Phantoms. We've not hit those times on anything here on our channel 'till going into the Much more expensive drones.

I appreciate the input and thats what I expected maybe I should pick up something like the Syma with multiple batteries and let that extend flight times instead of getting a super expensive one just yet as we are still learning. Thank You very much for taking the time out to answer my questions.

Don’t know if you will see this since it’s an older video, but I just got one of these and when I plugged the charging cable into the battery to charge it, the light on the cable lit up before I plugged it into the USB port on my computer. The light went out when the battery was charged, but when I unplugged it from the computer, the light came back on until I disconnected it from the battery. Is this normal?

Can you review the Sky Drone Plus? its my first quad and i want to know how to use it, the instructions are full of typos, false stuff and no information of how to fly it :P

Thanks, i had my first flight yesterday indoors, i almost broke a light, one of the screw-in blade protectors popped off but i just screwed it back on and its fine!

Correction to my previous comment. The Red5 Sky Drone Plus is just a rebranded Syma X5SC. There are plenty of reviews of it.

when I'm not touching the controls my drone keeps flying backwards. is it broken? or when it is hovering it is suppose to do that

This is just a suggestion, and maybe you are already doing this, but try making sure the drone is completely level on take off. It may think it is flying level if it takes off at an angle :)
