Amazing Cherry Blossoms in full bloom at Takato Castle Ruins Park (BMPCC6K) 

In this video, I take you on a journey to Takato Castle Ruins Park in Ina City, Nagano Prefecture.
On April 4th, 2023, I had the opportunity to capture the beauty of the cherry blossoms at the park.
Takato Castle Ruins Park is known as one of Japan's three most famous cherry blossom viewing spots, along with Hirosaki Castle (Hirosaki Park) in Aomori Prefecture and Mount Yoshino in Nara Prefecture.
This year, due to a warm winter, the cherry blossoms bloomed at their fastest rate ever on April 1st, instead of mid-April. The park is home to a unique species of cherry blossoms called Takato Kohigan Zakura, which have a stronger red tint compared to Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms. With approximately 1,500 trees planted throughout the park, the sight of countless cherry blossoms blooming all over the castle ruins is truly breathtaking.
On the day of my visit, the weather was perfect, and I could see the snow-capped peaks of the Central Alps from the castle ruins park. The bright blue sky provided a stunning backdrop for the pale pink Takato Kohigan Zakura trees that looked even more beautiful in the sunlight.
Although I was only able to capture the beauty of the cherry blossoms during the day, Takato Castle Ruins Park is also famous for its nighttime illumination. I hope to visit again someday and experience the park's nighttime cherry blossoms firsthand.
