What a magnificent collection of gifts! I was inspired to make a gnome house after watching videos done by Sharon Aiello on "Where the Gnomes Live". You would be utterly astounded at her giant tree houses filled with so many incredible things that she has made! I would love to see you create your own version, but I would highly recommend you go take a look at her earliest videos of when she made the house and kept adding on to it! Funny Sunny 😂🤣

First things first. I adore (Lilia's?) artwork she included in your parcel. Delightful! One of my most favorite things in life has been displaying children's artwork, that have been given to me throughout my years. I consider them all to be masterpieces. Her family portrait made me giggle when I realized her cat twilight was wearing tiny (wellies?) and had flicked one off, finding just enough momentum to let Mama know he didn't care to wear them. Lol. The miniature goodies, gnomes, Fleur's little musician, gobs of acorns, stitched pics, birdies and books, all warmed my heart and brought a smile to my face. : ) You are loved. Sunny's was thee Best catnip reaction i've ever seen. Priceless. : )

I forgot. Whilst clearing out Great Auntie Margaret's house. I opened a box checks are kept in. And it was filled with acorns. I have had this box for 21 years. And I believe Margaret filled it in the 1960's.

The brass frame is from an antique Union Case, they were leather and thermoplastic cases for keeping tintypes and daregotypes photographs from over 100 years ago. Lovely work and great use of an old frame.

I have been a sub for a long long time, I watch the mudlarking finds but people who collect or make doll houses and small dolls items,putting the things you find to create many dolls long abandoned by their Victorian owners long ago. These people are the kindest most generous, community on youtube. It never gets old. To all who donate and makers are extremely talented community. I am always amazed at their generosity. I am always in the bushes watching but I rarely comment. But I have to say this. Bless all of you! P.s. Sunny is so adorable and entertaining! He is ok with his fish. My cats love to eat cat nip, and they too rub it on their faces. They have scent glands on the sides of their noses so they rub it on their faces to scent mark or the cat loves the smell and wants to smell like catnip too! but they can vomit if they eat too much or get to excited. I would have to say, that was the most funniest catnip encounter! I love Sunny, he deserves the best of everything! He is so precious 🥰😍😘 I think I might be Sunny's biggest fan!!!

Sunny is a good cat. You could do a David the Gnome themed project with the gnome picture. There is an episode of the cartoon where David and his wife go through the process that gnomes do of building their home. There is a blog, the 1940's Experiment, that has recipes from the 1940's rationing and they also have some information on what was rationed - given the amount of deserts that had custard, it was probably easier to get hold of than other desert ingredients and the recipes were quite creative on using alternatives for things that weren't easy to get.
