Hands down Brian Justin Crumbs interpretation has yet to be topped. His vocals and control are insane. I did like Tom's version too. And Dalton Harris wowza..... gorgeous voice.
Brian Justin Crum is one of the rarest artists that won’t sacrifice the song’s integrity by belting out some long note. Instead he pulled back to a small quiet ohhhh to show the sadness of feeling alone and like a weirdo. Then he grabs your attention by belting out clear notes and makes you feel what the song writer’s intention was. Not only does he kill it vocally, he pulls you in emotionally with his inflection and breath control. It’s like he’s at a party and it’s all happening for the first time. I could listen to his version over & over and still get chills. We need more artists like that.
Jeff Gutt respects the rock style of the original iconic song, its excellent vocal style and the strength of the performance. As an interpretation this is the best. However, as a singer it is Tom Ball who is a promise in any style that is challenged.
Jene Irene !!!!!! She sings well at will and without being in a cast !!! So good !!!! Sings flowing lightly and with its own energy!!! Beautifull Jene!!! LOVED!!!
I have heard Jim Carey, Prince 🎇versions. In fact who hasn't tried it. Tom Ball was a surprise to me, gave me goosebumps actually. All the others excellent.!
When it comes to bringing emotions to this song, nobody comes even close to Thom Yorke. Everybody here is getting ready for "she od running out the doooor" part and for the high notes without any respect for the complete song
Shows how good Grace VanderWaal is since she beat the 1st singer. Don't really want to embarrass these guys by showing the two German girls singing it.
I've heard every rendition of this song and as far as I'm concerned Brian Justin Crum does it the best because he puts real emotion into the song without effort. When an audience is dead silent, no clapping or cheering then you know that he has their full attention. The silence right after the song was over was epic! 💯💖🥰
1st guy had natural talent. The rest were just too contrived and wrecked the purity of the song! Number 1 instinctively made it his! Brian Justin-Crum!
Having listened to many renditions of "Weirdo", there is absolutely no questioning that Brian Justin Crum is outstanding. Brian's vocal range, control of voice and effortless abilities to switch from pitch to pitch is stunning. This is for you Brian, keep singing because you bring joy to millions of people who hear your performances. I could listen to your singing repeatedly and never tire of it.
Brian Justin Crum brought an incredible amount of power and simplicity to this song. IMO, he is and always will be #1. Jeff Gutt comes in a close second.
Howy Mandel's expression after Brian Crum sang says it all! Speechless and in awe. Love the silence after he sang. I think the audience was captivated and sucked into his performance! ❤ Brian Crum did it best here with Tom Ball a very, very close second, imo😊
I honestly believe that Brian did not receive the "golden buzzer" simply because the judges-like the audience- were so stunned by his performance that they did not even think about it !@@Calers-gu1ib
I hate to say this but ...they should have "saved" Brian Crum's performance for last. After hearing his version of "Creep" everything else paled in comparison.
Brian Justin Crum gives me goosebumps every time I hear him sing Creep. I hang onto every single word and it makes me feel every single word too he made me like this song.
Brian and Tom. They both are great singing this version of Creep. Chest voice, head voice, dissonance, suspension, and feelings into the song as they sang in their own ways. The difference is that to whom they sang it to. Brian sang about him (is the creep) and shared his feelings into the song for the audience. While Tom sang about someone, partly himself too (perhaps). So that's why the 2 singers gave different feelings to the audience. The verse "run" is always the climax in the song, as we all know. So it is very important and powerful in this part of the song. Brian and Tom did a great job. 👏 👏
Brian Crum is definitely the best, I never heard this song like that. He brought so much more life to this song, the most powerful rendition ever. I'm amazed. If I were the writer or producer I wud definitely put this one out again.
Gives me goosebumps every time I hear Brian Justin Crumm. Makes you hang on to every word....and so it has to be BJC hands down. What breath control and that too with practically no accompanying instrumental music.
Tom Ball is my choice. This man grows with each and every song that he sings .the passion that he puts into every song. The career of this man will surpass all the others in my opinion. I hope he has your support. I believe he is a star ❤
Every time I replay Brian Crum's electrifying rendition of this song I feel the same emotion. He was absolutely amazing and I am so sorry he did not win the entire competition.
