Just seeing this 4 yrs late but wow I am blown away. These kids are amazing and then some. I wish them luck in whatever their bright futures hold.

My step father is Cuban and I’m glad to see where he came from he used to teach me the salsa and we’d listen to Celia Cruz while he would cook the best food... Cuban is the home of Afro Caribbean it’s such a beautiful place with a beautiful people

Great performance....I could hear the voice in the back ground repetitively announcing " San Miguel del Padron " , which is a municipality in La Habana. I think this might had been a contest of some sort...maybe between schools, or " barrios " ( neighborhoods) . Seeing the kinds carrying the torch of many other before them...it's simply wonderful! I found this video 4 years after it first uploaded..but what a feast to my sore eyes! Muchas gracias! A Cuban man from Sydney Australia.

Not sure about the boys (who are fantastic), but the girls look like classical ballet dance students. It's the way they hold their torsos and their arm and hand movements, and their body types. Cuba has a thriving classical dance program and professional troupe.
