The first half of the ru-vid.comUgkx3ICSK6nSknaL_45CU2NmFSoXjarGMDiJ book is everything about wood: types, tools, finishes, setting up shop etc. The second half is all about doing projects for inside and outside of the home. The color pictures are helpful. After reading a dozen of these types of books, this is probably the best overall (layout, color photos, plans). Only detraction is that many of the projects use a table saw/router/planer, which are usually expensive and take up space, so the plans are less friendly to newcomers and the budget conscious. But I know I can use a drill, circular saw or a jigsaw to make the projects.

I call it " Eyeball Carpentry " .. I used to love it when someone said " You can't do that " .. Some of the most elaborate work can be made with the simplest of tools .. and a Brain
Ok so he did a bit of bodging here n there using screws and filler but that said the end product once fully sanded and painted youd never know the difference. I admire the guys persistence and yes i will say skills as he did give it a go and yeah it would have taken him ages but great end result. Well done Sir
Gluing posts into the steps with sawdust everywhere, drilling holes in the rails on the bare floor, my father would beat me to death if he ever saw me do anything close to that. wow..just wow.
This guy should get a bag for his glue. You can even get a ziploc, it doesn't have to be fancy. It will help put glue in those holes for the spindles and posts. It won't be as mess either, which is always a bonus.
badass wrk , and custom, takes talent for all u haters , he is a woodmaker u nxt go to yr local wood store and jst pick up a hand rail made , that's why it's called wood work you work the wood to your desired shape , Awsome work
no square, no tape, no level, you got to give credit when credit is due he curve those elbows with a planer son, a planer, well and the band saw and grinder but good job overall. I honestly like his work, he is a beast. I couldn't do that the way he did it, he sculpted those elbows in. good job bro. my only advice is constantly sweep your work area its gonna elevate your work but amazing work
He is good. He doesnt have the fancy tools that the others "guys" have. Others might call it primitive. But he made a good job. He just calculate sometimes. Notice it? God given talent. he is not even wearing something to protect his eyes.
Cabinetmakers and carpenters should know how to do it this way, unfortunately that is not the case anymore. The mill shop needed a $500k cnc machine and this guy needed a bandsaw, planer, grinder and drill.

Imagine what he could do with an Arbortech power wood carving chisel for his angle grinder! I guess when your wages are 2 bowls of rice a week, you can afford to spend that long doing it. Meanwhile back at the CNC 5 axis router all 3 bends were made in half an hour. Hard not to admire his determination, patience and hand skills all the same!. Off to get me some bags of rice & a green card for this guy! ;o)
Wow....I've done alot of stairways in my days.....but never have I seen one done like that...lol. The guy was amazing...considering the tools he was working with. Making his over the post easing's on the job was very impressive....something I would not even consider..lol. Sure wish I could have checked it for strength. And it looked like he made his own pasty glue ...wonder what it was made from.....ancient Chinese secret...:) Amazing skill....Not crazy about all the screws but I have a feeling you know how to hide them well.
