It was likely his family that buried him, with the help of Egyptians. Then once his body dried out, they moved his remains to Canaan.

You should take the time to read The Testament of the 12 Patriarchs... each of the 12 had their own Testament written. Joseph died before many of his brothers, I believe, at 110 years old.

You are right, however, his coat being with him or not would be irrelevant as his coat would have been talked about and almost a symbol of his identity. Much like the cross and Jesus. So at his death, it would make sense for his likeness to be commemorated with his origin story into Egypt and his statue would have been decorated to this extent to depict him and his image in its fullness.

And then David Rohl answered saying no grave robber would steal the bones and leave the valuables, only those who reverenced the bones would do that.. that actually proves Joseph's request to be carried back was granted

Joseph and all of the family died in Egypt. (Exodus 1:1-6) Which means they very well could have been given tombs to honor them.

Actually Joseph did die but when the Iraelites left Egypt, they took his bones because that was his wish before he died.

If you read in the latter chapters of Genesis you will read that Jacob (Israel) had sons and daughters by more than one "wife." Hence why Joseph was one of Jacob's favorites as he fathered him with his true wife. Its complicated because of the way it is worded in the Bible but long story short it was common in the old testament that the patriarchs fathered sons with multiple partners

Actually it's evidence...Doesn't mean it is conclusive evidence and certainly not proof that it was Joseph. I don't think they claimed that this is *certainly Joseph. Merely that there is evidence that it could be. Its not an assumption ether, there was someone who lived in Egypt who was not Egyptian and was honored for his role; it is coincidental that the biblical account describes a person who fits that description and honor. This provides evidence of that conclusion, not proof.

The yellow paint was consistent with the Egyptian depiction of northerners. It was a caricature of sorts. Obviously their skin wasn't actually yellow--just different and lighter than that of Egyptians. That's why the skin was yellow.
