The ability to have Google voice assistant and Alexa simultaneously on one speaker is really great. I use Apple Music, RU-vid Music and Audible and with one device I could use all three services which would be nice. I wish the speakers had an HDMI ARC input so you could use them as a soundbar but that's probably a pretty niche usage for these types of speakers. Still, I would've like to have seen the option to do so.
I was at CES in Las Vegas this week and sampled all three sizes. I really liked them. They also played two 500s as a stereo setup and that really kicked it up a level. I'm going to pick one up (maybe two) and try them out at home.
I've just bought the 309 here in Azerbaijan and unfortunately they are a good 50% more expensive than elsewhere. Anyway , I went ahead and bought one and I have to say it is a great speaker despite there being a ton of negative reviews. I tried the the Beloit 20 and it sounded warmer, but I have had bad experiences of B&O products not working properly. The set up was simple as well as connecting to WiFi and Tidal. Overall it sounds and works great and I fail to see why it has negative reviews by most reviewers.
I wish Siri and Apple Music were integrated into this. Other than the portability of the 300, i feel a HomePod would be better use as a home/smart speaker if you are in the apple ecosystem
Have you successfully played Dolby Atmos? If yes, does this speaker natively support Dolby Atmos from Apple Music, or does it need the JBL One app connected to the streaming service for Dolby Atmos playback?
