Thank you Charly! Crete is a great holiday destination with a lot of variaty when it comes to places to stay! I have been many times in a seaside villages called Chora Sfakion on the south side of the island. Its very laid back and the people are awsome! Would recomend hotel Stavris there. But if you travel with kids then Frangokastelo (Near Chora Sfakion) is Better since it has a sandy Beach and so on. However, if you like a city/beach vibe then Rethymno Old Town is a good choice. We usually go There for a Night or 2 when we are at Crete. Maybe u have seen my other video from there and the great Hotel (Maybe the best in Crete, Palazzo Rimondi). AirBnB are planta in Crete but on this trip I booked on booking.com, We had a Villa with pool in another village near Vryses Village wich was great! I also made a video from There! Hello Erik, new subscriber I miss dearly Crete. I was born in Agii Apostoli in Chania Crete only 90 meters to the beach from our house. In 1964 my father said let’s immigrant to Montréal Quebec Canada for 5 years, ha ha 55 + years later I’m still here. @@erikoutthere6779 I’m happy you enjoyed Crete. I visit every year my village but with this new measures keep changing every 2 months I haven’t travelled 2 years. Yes like you said in your video is not easy to travel with 3 children. Montréal where I live is best to visit in July - August as many Europeans enjoy the only French speaking province of Canada you will feel you’re in Paris France 🇫🇷..take care of your family …I’m have retired from working sadly that I can’t travel under these conditions as Canada is very strict at the border 🇨🇦
You have a nice family and your choice for ridding the mountain villages was the best! Next time keep this in mind, 1) don't separate Greek salad from it's plate, eat like a Greek to taste the whole flavors (this tip in Greece, united the whole family) , 2) add honey on the saganaki as you do on Sfakian pie. I wish the best for you and cute family.
You need to do some research before you set off on a journey. After the Clock, you drove past and missed the natural Aloe Vera products, family restaurants and roman tiled floors in Argiroupoli Village. Crete is steeped in history. Enjoy!
