A few college kids having fun. Daniel rippin' it up on the harmonica and Bubba playing the Jew's Harp. Sounds like Buddy Greene. Amazing talent! Rate, comment, subscribe. Tell me if you want more of these vids in a comment.
Roland Scales I actually recommend everyone to own one true Jews Harp. If youre unsure the kind to buy. A Tartar Kubyz is about 20 bucks from Russia. It's fantastic. Also if you have more to spend...the 60 and 80 dollar harps are amazing. Harps can go up to almost 500 dollars depending the maker. Not a super lot compared to other high quality instruments. But for a Jews harp 3 and 4 hundred is NICE JEWS HARP.
Roland Scales If you want to stay below a hundred. Get a Glazyrin Star. Glazyrin harps are laser cut and not forged but they are high quality. Another Glazyrin harp recommend is Glazyrin Phantom.. it has a magnetic ball that sits in Reed to change pitch. Oleg Shipanov makes a wonderful harp. Zoltan Szilagyi in hungry also makes a fantastic "Doromb" (Hungarian for Jews harp).
Roland Scales Mostly it will be Yakut Khomus that is in the 3 and 4 hundred range but many amazing harps below a hundred dollars. I think you will be amazed to discover the huge, magical and psychedelic world of Jews harps. Enjoy.
Roland Scales If you want an ok harp that is better then a hobby lobby harp... Look for the Russian brothers Vladmir and Pavel Potkin. They make fantastic tourist harps and some come tuned to keys. A good harp is tuned to a specific key, but many good ones untuned. Oberton Pro has the best Jews harps for luring bugs from a hole.
