there should actually be a bms that protects from deep discharge and shorting behind those terminals. So its "kinda" safe if you dont put too much heat I guess.
@@MattFixesStuff i agree i was thinking of more about the heat the terminals tend to not be very solderable " not sure that's a real word lol" and need alot of heat to get it to adhere to it . The correct way is to spot weld to them
@@thepoormechanic I also agree. But its possible to solder onto them. To be safe you can add a dot of flux before solering. I did it many times and so far nothing bad happened ☺ A spot welder would be a nice upgrade though, not sure if it would work on those mini terminals though.
Man I’m 32 and I was making lock pickers from those little motors when I was about 14-15 if I was into making huge gains on RU-vid I could have without doubt, I do make mega playing games online though that’s way more fun for me
Overly complex. I made these with my kids as a craft, with just a AAA-battery holder and a switch (plus googly eyes and pipe cleaners) - no circuit board or rechargeable battery needed.
