He so deserved that win, because prior to that last safety car, he had a comfortable lead on the rest of the field! Cant wait for Bathurst in a couple weeks time!!!
He's going to be hard to beat DJR are at the top of their game. Would love to see a Holden win. Jamie and Lowndes to win Holdens last Bathurst as a manufacturer. Its always a thrilling race Can't wait.
They stole so many of the original advantages the mustang had . I am yet to hear of any thing being taken from Holden .congratulations ford won dispite the knobling
Was there that weekend, was a special event as I'm good mates with Scotty and the Johnson family. Caught up with Scotty on the Sunday morning, we fist bumped (we wanted to give each other a bro hug but was a fair few media people around and they all wanted to have a chat with him so could only catch up for 5 seconds if that) Also got to meet Roger Penske for a moment and was pleasantly surprised on how nice and approachable the guy was.
@Saffsa How's your bumhole been these last 3 years. It's taking an absolute 888/Chevy reaming. you could almost park your Mustang inside your rear end by now.
Yeah, the redbullshit mob have been doing that for quite awhile. Only have to look at their blatant cheating in 2020 and 2021 to see how pathetic Supercars have become.
The engine in Scotty's car was the race engine not the qualify engine. It was the qualifying engine they were pinged for not the race engine. And Scott is not a cheat. He had nothing to do with the engineering of the qualifying engine. He is a driver first and foremost.
@@ebfalc Johnson was a great driver in his hay day, that I will not argue. But he is a SHOCKING businessman and an arrogant arsehole to boot… Penske saved Dick from going bust, and he’s just lucky he has a competent partner in the form of Ryan Story to keep the risen ship afloat by pointing the cannon out to sea and not at the Hul
If know anything of this race it's 161 laps around Bathurst and driver who won was dominating until an incident happened where a safety car was brought into the circuit, that brought all the cars together that took them around til the last lap that might be boring for you but not us Aussies. 🍻
@@RACINGUS95 I stoped watching Bathurst religeously when cars lost steel bumpers in The late 80's. Before that time it was , my personal highlight of each year, sitting down with dad for the day to watch Bathurst. my tears come because, and the mulitude of Austrahan 'car' people who share this expereince understand, it will always be the most important Sunday in Australian Car Racing Culture. I was sharing in the driver's Joy😁
@@strangemachines_ well, coz maybe THE AMAZING PART comes at the last minute, you dense skully?? Coz that was what the author promised? Maybe a skillfull pass, a save, a last minute strategem? As with nearly all great races? But alas, nada!
