I never cared anything about animal stuff until I found your channel randomly and became fascinated with this little world of mice you've built. You have a gift for making them seem like little people and for putting their personalities on display.
I so miss small animals! I worked at a rescue shelter that took in mice rats hamsters gerbils things that were unrecognizable. I really miss them plus I took home what there wasn't room for so I had many but I hired people to help. Where we are moving it is hundred percent Mountain Country. Possibly two neighbors a mile or so away. I've met the one their families been on the mountain for 200 years! The closest city is 4 hours so one thing that happens when you're in the wild is if you have domestics the Wild Ones come in to see them. I can't have that and I don't not harm them in any way. So it would be so difficult with our food storage cuz we have to have enough for one year due to the distance, and the driving factor it's all just very difficult. The little bit of money we have we need to put up solar and get some sort of satellite for phone hopefully computer. So I'll watch mice while I can
Rodents are just as intelligent and loyal and loving as dogs, and cleaner than both. I have a little fetish for shorthaired mice with huge ears, and I see you have one!
My mom and i had mice for 10 years :) I'm enjoying your vids a lot, they remind me of simpler times. I miss the little fluffballs. Also, a mouse named Finnegan? You a fan of SaveAFox? ;)
If you don't mind me asking and if you have the time to answer me how long do your mice live ? They say the average life span of a pet mouse 🐁 is 2 years. If yours live longer than that what do you do for them to help them ? I'm guessing diet 🌱☘🥕🥒🌾🥬 room to run... My granddaughter has a couple of young rats I would like to help them feel good and live longer 🐀 🐀 🙋♀️
My mice live slightly longer than they did before I moved them into the new mouse room and started breeding my own, but it still averages only about one and a half years.
