Hello Sir, I just found your channel. You are fantastic! I love the sounds of the birds and such in the woods!! I am getting old and broke my neck 6 years ago so my hunting and hiking days have come to an end. I was an avid Artifact hunter in my prime, I have a fairly extensive stone artifact collection. Always ment to start metal detecting but never got the chance. Thank you for making videos! They allow me the chance to virtually experience the rush of a find! Nothing like that feeling of knowing you the first human hand to hold since the guy who lost it! Thanks again and keep on detecting!

Amazing ring. Reminds me of when I found my own gold posy ring in Jan 16. Its still at the museum as its treasure trove but this took me right back to that day. Well found Hans...

The buttons that you call pewter look like buttons we find here in the U.S.A. , we call them "Tombac buttons" Not sure if they are the same as your buttons.The beautiful nature scenes and photography sets your videos apart from the average video on RU-vid! absolutely amazing find there my friend, a true find of a lifetime, congratulations, this is museum quality, and a wonderful bit of history, I hope you get the recognition you deserve, if a museum wanted to own this ring I hope they reward you very well for taking the time to find it. I live in a small historic roman/celtic village in England, I found many great things similar to yours, last week I found a bronze age silver coin, I always find many roman coins and artefacts. great video, you have an amazing area to hunt.

I really enjoy the quality of your videos they seem very well thought out. Like a show more than merely a hunt in the woods on camera. This is my second visit to the channel after subscribing. The ruby in that ring is likely more valuable than the gold. It's carved but still very valuable in it's color and translucency. A little added knowledge about your ring it was made on hot coals and a baffle to add oxygen bent and fashioned in the coals the stone added last.

Bullet isn't US origin. Between 1800 and 1900 there was a lot of experimentation going on in the old country, especially in Germany where top custom gun makers made guns for the well to do. I think it's a hand made charge for a custom gun from the range of 1850 to 1890. Check the caliber and you can zero in on the maker, it could be an odd cal.

Rachel Thompson i agree, i found similar info as well however i found a pic of more German and 1 British bullets that look like it all in 1 group but without the markings. The shapes the same tho...
