I am Thai but i think the best place for breeding could be southeast asia region but the best breeder would be depended on standard at that time. Once we focus on bigger region we would be able to get the new amazing combination.

hi dexter , in one of your previous videos you mentioned as long as the fry are born together they would not fight unless segregated. here you said around three months they would begin to fight. please specify because i was thinking on setting up a 200 gallon betta tank. but i will only try if i can breed a batch in there and leave them to propogate and naturally continue to reproduce in there on their own (not to sell) ... please explain

You can consider on having guppy instead of betta. They are appicable for community tank

there’s a high chance females won’t fight if they were hatched together. You can research about betta sorority. On the other hand, male bettas shouldn’t be kept together in a community tank. That’s why for betta breeders, they gender the bettas aged 2/3 months to separate the males from females then separately jar the male bettas as they can show predatory behavior even towards their siblings.

Hi. So 6 months from fry to saleable betta? 150php on average final sale price. The volume of sales would have to be so high. Do you sell 500 a month? 75,000php after 6 months, what are the costs? Food, bottle 3php, labor, water, breeding costs. Can you tell me the profit per fish?

I really like to see Dexter's videos. He does not keep the knowledge for himself, he shares and you can see that he wants the people to do well. Just see, at the junkyard he promoted the business of those two people.. Jordan the guy with the bottles and then Cherise, the lady with the rice bags. He did not have to do that, but he did. we are quite bless with our temperature because the temperature is almost constant even during the night. It would not change drastically.

@@sappir26 bettas get along with guppies neon tetras and other types of tetras but not goldfish just takeout the betta rearrange the tank and put your other fish in first and wait for one to two hours and then put in your betta

I was told at a pet store the same thing someone else said…about the guppies and tetra but after trying it no matter how big and nice the tank is I found the bettas killed every single fish in the tank. They’re just too fast and aggressive towards other fish. It was terrible!! I have 8 bettas all in their own tanks and the only thing I found to live well with them are mystery snails. Which at first I wasn’t very fond of but ended up loving them! They do their own things and the snails actually help clean the tank. Hope that helps!! Good luck! They’re very smart fish that can even learn tricks very easily. They fascinate me. Have a great day!

Couldnt the bettas fins get cut when getting them out of the bottle where the bottle is cut?

Should then pour the fish out through the spout of the bottle, by tipping the bottle away from the side with the cut in it. That way, no fins going over sharp edges.
