We own a farm this is perfect for my house!! I am soo excited!! My 13 yr old son is goin to help me with this..normally I could do it on my own but I have a two-year-old daughter and a 12 week old son,so I'm pretty busy most of the day so my oldest my 13-year old is going to help me.. thank you so much for the inspiration it is absolutely gorgeous
Kelly, why not add handles to the top that are flat on the top and finish the underside. When you cook and take it off you can flip it over and use it for a beautiful tray. Nice project Kelly.
WOW, girlfriend you rock!! I've wanted one of these forever, now I can afford to have one that'll be much cheaper and say I made it myself! Thanks for sharing how to do this stinkin' cute range cover!!! 😊
Kelly oh my gosh I made this for mine but dod it at my in laws house. BIG MISTAKE LOL. The whole family came n and out as I was doing it and saw the finished product now they all want me to make them one. Well I got my work cut out for me now. But I love it. Thanks Kelly for everything you do!!!!! Love ya girl.
So so cute. I love how you do all these things. I am so happy to see you once again. Congratulations on your subbies! You so deserve all the views and all else. You do such amazing and darling crafts. You are just amazing. I believe the last one I got notified about was your son having covid and he was home in isolation. I pray all is well there. Good to see you again and I can only imagine how big the girls have grown. God bless, Merry Christmas and stay well! Thank you for all you do!
Fantastic job. Yiu would never know it was made with dollar store items. Sometimes hardware stores will have off cuts that might be even less expensive.
I absolutely love this!! So stinkin' rustic looking that I will be trying it. I have a flat top and very little counter space so we are usually preparing sandwiches and such on the stove top so I've been looking for something to cover it when not in use. You are awesome, thank you for sharing your talents and ideas.
I love what you did with our stove top. I have been looking for something authentic. Thank you for sharing. Another idea for you. You could put the, Let's eat God Signs, on another back board to match. Just an idea. Happy crafting.
I absolutely love this! I will be making this soon! Especially since your stove is exactly like mine!☺ Now that I have said that can you please share how you keep the pans clean? Your's look brand new. I have tried everything I can think of to get them clean with no luck. I love your channel and I have shared it with many of my friends!❤ Thank you for sharing your imagination!😊❤
Wow that was amazing I dont know how you though of this but it is awesome will be subscribe to you channel you are just amazing Thanks for sharing this with all of us
How does this hold up over time? Is it flimsy? I need one for extra "counter space" when the stove is not in use. Does it support a crock pot for example?
Wow, definitely looks like a dollar tree stove cover. Would’ve been much easier just to make it out of real wood and have the store cut all the pieces you needed.
Ythats what’s great about DIYing is a project like this you can make it to suit your decor❣️ this matches my kitchen perfectly had I added color it wouldn’t have gone with my decor
******** UPDATE ******* There was a comment posted that this was a Fire Hazard! NO IT IS NOT! I DO NOT have a PILOT LIGHT on my Gas Stove, I have an igniter! So if you have a PILOT LIGHT on your stove this would NOT be SAFE!! In order to turn the burners on, on my range the knobs need to be pushed down then turned to ignite a flame! The burners are not on when the cover is on!
Hey Kelly, I know you put a great deal of thought and work into this and I thank you for taking the time to film and edit it. It is one of your best!!!
That's amazing, Kelly! 👏 👏👏I'll be making one of these for myself and maybe even a couple of birthday gifts this year. I've wanted a stove cover but just didn't feel like I wanted to pay for what everybody's asking. THANKS FOR FEATURING THIS VIDEO, SO I'D NOTICE IT. I'm thinking of you and your family and keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. I know all too well how badly you're hurting. Upcoming Feb 25 will be 13 years since I lost my son Amos in a wreck. He was 27 and left two babies behind. It's been so hard. So Sweetie, take things slow and easy. Take all the time you need and know how many prayers are going up for you. You are so loved! ❤🙏🏼✌️
I had one of those moments when you were doing the hazelnut paint that I thought it was ruined. I thought that sometimes in the middle of a Bob Ross painting too...but no, gorgeous! Way to go:) This is one of your best DIYs ever.
Kelly!! Kelly!! Kelly!! "YOU" just never cease to amaze me! I am moving soon to a NEW home & I always look to your videos for new ideas! I enjoy doing my DIY's around the house & you are a part of my inspiration so Thank You Kelly..Keep them coming & Have a Blessed & Wonderful day...
It also works for an actual serving tray you can take it and set it on your coffee table if you're having a party in your living room if you needed to I would have made mine a little different but she did an excellent excellent job I love the colors of course
That is outrageously amazing! I've looked at them before and they can be so expensive. I've got an electric stove and when I have parties I thought it would just give added serving space instead of cluttering up my counters. You are such an artistic genius!
I can honestly say you knocked this project out of the park Kelly!!! This stove cover is gorgeous. ❤️ Your project tutorials are explained with such detail, without making people feel as if this would take so much time. Continue doing what you do girl - making great DIY videos!!!
When you started out using the DT plaques I was so skeptical, I'm over here thinking Kelly you are nuts! This is not going to work! But as always I'm amazed! It looks awesome and actually looks sturdy!
Kelly I've said this on many if your DIYs but this has got to be my favorite so far. I love this. It's so stinking cute. I'm cracking up on all those that think this a fire hazard. Wow don't turn the burners on lol. Thanks for sharing. On my way to get supplies. BTW, Any ideas on how to make this nautical?
Crafts and More with Donna Jackson The colors you use can make it nautical and the stencils you use like an anchor or sailboat or something with shells. You can also use a rope around the top edges to make it nautical. Hope this helps some.
Oops!!! I think I need to unsubscribe I'm way out of my league with these kind of crafts. Wow...that was an awesome tip😞 my mind simply doesn't produce those kind of ideas.
KELLY, THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL! IT LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING FROM HOBBY LOBBY! IT LOOKS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN $20.00...WELL OVER! SO VERY CREATIVE!!!!THANK-YOU FOR SHARING AND GIVING THIS BEAUTIFUL IDEA! GOD BLESS!!!
