I thought it was sensible logic to wash top to bottom, and use a hydraulic ladder to wash the roof and top section of the sides. I've never washed a big truck before, but figure it doesn't take a degree to do it.
I also love how much name-calling and hatred there is over "top to bottom" "bottom to top" Who cares. Do it the way you want. I wash my car with peanut butter. Now you can all come together and attack me....I'm a unifier. LMAO
@@georgeauldiii3886 top to bottom want the dirt to run off not up in shit it shoudnt like barings electrics and shit how I wash my mtb never pressure wash bearings if you want to keep them as long as you can plus removes the lube from them dry barings are not good seaze up when you least expect it so top to bottom is logically the right thing to do in my eyes
Detailing Diaries It's not an original method if the whole thing is his method. Maybe he does that all the time. And it's not like it matters, the car would only turn up cleaner anyway.
None of you have obviously washed before. If you start from the top you rinse all the soap you sprayed on at the bottom. Soap is twice as effective when hit with pressure. Washing from top to bottom is a COMPLETE waste of soap. I washed commercially for 3 years with soaps and acids.
washing large machines, buildings etc better to wash bottom to top then final rinse top to bottom. prevents streaks and large build up of dirt at the bottom because you would be washing dirt onto dirt. When ever you see large items being washed you will always see it being done bottom to top.
THANK YOU!!!! I was thinking the same exact thing!!! I have washed hundreds of semis and trailers. I ALWAYS do it like that. I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks so!!
RU-vid's like my parents. They tell you a story and then a few weeks later, "hey did I tell you about that time those guys washed a truck without any brushes?" Yes you already told me.
This is going to sound super weird but I have to thank this channel for its videos. Earlier this year my appendix burst and I was in the hospital for a few weeks with a drain and pic line. Pretty miserable. Well found your videos and they were so satisfying and calming. Took my mind off all this shit going on. Thank you for these awesome videos and for just being on youtube as it took my mind off all the crap that was going on with my health! Again I know this seems really weird.
Everybody who does this type of job knows that when you start pressure washing, you tend to start from the top and move towards the bottom. If you start from the bottom then all the dirt from the top is gonna cover the clean areas again which does require, as in your video to wash a surface twice or even 3 times. Point is, you have to use as much as less water as possible and still do an amazing job.
Most important is to be methodical when rinsing. If you miss a spot it will show when it dries. But as mentioned, if you rinse thoroughly and methodically the result is amazing. I haven't hand washed our family car since last summer. A foam cannon, a pressure washer and the right kind of foam soap is all it takes. Cheers!
@@Calle... - I guess it's a bit unfair to compare my professional pressure washer with pre-heated water. It's all about the temperature. With cold water the result isn't as impressive. It leaves a thin dirt coat no matter what soap I use. Unfortunately you have to hand wash your car after you've pre-foamed and rinsed it, if you don't have a pressure washer with pre-heated water. But you can apply a coat of your hand wash soap with your foam gun. It's both fun and quicker than applying the soap from a bucket by hand. With the car pre washed you don't need the two bucket method.
We need something like this for Optimus Prime. I habe my doubts it'll do the job as portrayed in this video. And I'd be curious how well it works on polished, chrome, and aluminum surfaces
Bernardo Alves ikr. It's unnecessary, along with wash from bottom to top (dude, it's the f-king gravity you know, top to bottom), and the rooftop of the truck. You're not the only one. Everybody also triggered. Haha
robert I used to wash semi trucks for Blue Beacon, & over there there were these pipes that sprayed the top with different chemicals and stuff to wash the top of the trucks
I don't own a truck nor drive one, I'm not even interested in anything that has to do with trucks or how to clean one. And yet this ended in my RU-vid recommendations and i watched and quite frankly enjoyed the whole darn thing. Life is weird.
Huyyy que sorprendente. Cómo lo lava de bien, al tiempo que gastan miles de litros de agua. Mientras que en algunas partes del mundo este líquido preciado escasea.
So many people here obviously missing the dude actually doing it top to bottom. Actually fucking watch the video, and you'll clearly see him going from the bottom to the top. And THEN he goes from the Top to the Bottom.
deIlluminati it's easier to just go from top to bottom once. Instead of going from bottom to top which just leaves dirt and you have to pass around that area again. Just do top to bottom once and your done.
That’s not how you wash a truck it’s from bottom to top I work at a truck wash I do it everyday lol and nobody asks for the roof to be done because it’s dam near impossible without a ladder and ladders and water are a dangerous mix
A. Wash the roof of the truck B. Wash top to bottom C. Wash the bottom of the truck Please DM me for a contract in truck wash consulting, I can increase your customer satisfaction by 60% in the first 3 months!
Then you failed: 1. Applying foam - from the very bottom to the top and roof. 2. Rinsing - from the top to the bottom. You don't agree? Find two trucks and compare which method is faster and cheaper.
Содоо Батаа You create a smooth surface for the dirt to slide off. Pronano makes sure it doesnt stick again. BTW this is xProudflesh's answer, so don't give me credit. Hope this answers your question. :)
Strangely enough, your ears are not connected to your eyes, and your speakers are not connected to your monitor. Turn off the sound, and *gasp* Surprise! The video still plays! MAGIC!!
