I spent many glorious summers there catching waterdogs in the river and watching thunderstorms from the balcony. This was my Grandparent's place, although back then it was simply called Irmulco Station. And the home shown was built by my Uncles, father, and Grandfather. The cabin below they built first as a summer retreat house. An interesting feature back then was that their mail was delivered daily by the Skunk train in a canvas bag that was thrown onto a pole with a hook as the train passed by. I have so many wonderful memories of this truly special place!
Buyer beware, that "lovely" skunk train blows its damn whistle ALL day!!! Beyond obnoxious from over 15 miles away. Enjoy your new ranch. Hope you have ear plugs
