Those really are magic chords. I must have listened to this video a hundred times already because of the magic! Love the experimental stuff in the middle. This is the most creative piano music I've heard in ages.
HIs notes i'm sure could be broken down in Theory but it would take the beauty out of his pureness of talent. You can tell it's just straight off the dome. What a living legend. Hope he gets more recognition and can be heard throughout the world.
@@NicoleKe the guy is a fucking genius, no two ways about it. We all have our strenths and weaknesses, and in this case you can hear his loud and clear
Thank you for sharing, Terrance with the world, Ken! He studied music under some of the most talented musicians at Arts Academy in Hartford, CT. He graduated, and was immediately hired to play for classes at the school. I miss teaching there, but mostly because I got to work alongside such amazing alumni like T! 🙌🙏💗😍👏🏻
You’re awesome brother I can feel the Holy Ghost every time you play because you’re anointed ‼️❤️ its a blessing to have RU-vid so we can witness your great gift and bless us with your keyboard presence
He es able to reharmonize and make key changes in a blink of an eye. I feel shame because I can´t do it but at the same time so much respect and admiration for Terrance Shider.
That was beautiful! For a second there @2:56 I thought Terrence was throwing in a little Elecman from Megaman 1. My bad... It's a common set of chords that I just love! LOL
Wow, You are So Amazing!! I Love when you use pasting Chord's and just creating chords as you go, without exaggeration You are The Best Pianist I've heard!!
Excellent musicianship! It's such a blessing to have chord harmonics, great technique and a soulful touch. Most of all I like how you always establish the identity of the songs you play by letting the melody be heard. A lot of musicians are so spaced out. They can play a lot of pretty stuff but you just don't know what they are playing when it comes doing an actual song.
Hey Terrence! I love your videos and your playing!! Your piano sound is outstanding. I learned so much from it. These passing chords you use in 04:42 and 04:58... I think you use them quite often in plenty of your videos. Can you or anyone else explain them? Thank you so much!
Multiple key changes - no problem for him -- big problem for most players. Very complex harmonics and amazing control... very clean playing. Check out 4:40 and following -- some nice stuff there...
