And two years later a random guy in another place of this planet at 23:28 had a random thought about the same thing....hope you're still alive and doing well 🙏👋
After my countless years loving and looking after these guys, I just don't know how you are able to sleep at night! The mistakes i made through ignorance still haunt me profoundly.
I can imagine being starved and still saying no to escargot. Also, the cosmetic part that ended with a jug of snail snot made me gag. Interesting video though 🐌
Noal Farm is an excellent production.... Excellent compilation of industry and human ingenuity albeit admonishable by some. Great idea of Agriculture 101!
Imagine if you as a tomatoes farmer meet the guy who is a snail farmer and making a conversation with you $ "Have you seen my garden which is my tomatoes get attacked by snails?" # "Lemme see..." $ "What's your opinion about this mess?" # "Ahh they are beautiful!" $ "I just seeing my tomatoes are being broken here" # "I mean the snails" $ " ......... @$#+()!? ........."
The slime might be a useful additive as a lubricant to engines or other mechanical moving parts. Perhaps not engines, but moving parts operating at lower temperatures. It may even be useful for sports equipment, especially water sports and winter sports (such as kayaking or skis/ snowboards). Maybe even health applications, such as Inflammatory Bowel Disorders like ulcerative colitis or crohn's disease. There are loads of untapped markets for the mucin product. Thanks for the great video, Noal Farm.
@@yashab4214 Chewy wonderful little morsels. I slow boil mushrooms for a half hour and then put them on a pan. Add 20-30 snails cover with garlic butter then cover with cheese and bake. There really isn't anything else out there that tastes like them.
I can’t believe you noticed that they don’t use voice actors, Noal Farm I have every right to shut down this RU-vid channel after it’s establishment 3 years ago.” Ot
Once upon a time there was a fancy French restaurant. Out back the chef had a garden. In this garden lived a snail. Each & every morning, the chef would come out into the garden & pick only the best snails for that nights menu. The snail in our story wanted for all the world to be selected because it would prove that he too was the best. But, morning after morning he was passed by. Finally, this snail had had enough. So, he went downtown to the Cadillac dealership where he bought himself the biggest, longest white Cadillac on the lot. Then, he told the salesman to take it to the service department and have them paint a big red S on both doors. The salesman did as he was instructed & when he delivered the car to the snail he asked what the red S was all about. Well, said the snail, when I drive down the street I want everyone who sees me say- ‘Man oh Man, look at that S car go’ !
There's an old saying that it's best not to watch sausages and laws being made, because you don't want to see what goes in them.🤢 Add cosmetics and perfumes to that list.🤮

Snails are actually super-nutritious food. High in protein and low in fat. For many people, snails are much tastier than any other meats. Chewy and crunchy texture, earthy flavour. Don't be scared to try
First of all, I really like your video. Now, I have a question. I read that best species of snail for farming is Giant African Land Snail. I was wondering what species of snail is in this video? Because looking at the size, these ones (in the video) don’t look like Giant African Land snails. Thank you!
Some of my ancestors were snail farmers on the Schwäbische Alb in southwestern Germany. The snails were bred for the gourmets of Paris, Vienna and Berlin.🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌 They bred Helix pomatia.
I legit did not know people eat snail eggs. Over here, just seeing snail crawl in our garden brings up the uncontrollable desire to pick a shovel and smash it to death.
I wouldn't just eat any old snail, although many are edible - I do not know which, but the right kind of snail with a bit of oil, garlic and cheese is an amazing dish. Well worth it to buy occasionally as a more humane, and low environmental impact product that is also delicious. It's really not so surprising when you consider how many types of mollusc from the ocean are consumed :) Even octopus and squid are molluscs (it is a big group of species).
People around the world eat many strange things. I read that the French also likes frog legs. In Sardinia, they eat rotten cheese with live maggots still on it.. In Philippines, they eat live duck embryos straight from the egg. In South Korea, they eat live octopus and squids. In Japan, other than raw fish, also raw horse meat and whale meat. In India, rats. In Mexico, jungle rats.
@@nathannantasai8945 What are you so aggressive for? I never said they are not normal. So they are strange to me. As you said, everyone has their preferences and I have mine. What is there to prove? What's your problem? Not stopping you from enjoying your raw meat.
Hello guys, I’m a snail, and today I will introduce my house, Snail farms in Europe.” It may feel strange, but snail is a famous dish, especially in France.” With features of rapid growth, low cost.” So they are quite popular.” The most famous editable snail is Roman snail, and of course at that time they were already raising snails to eat.” In addition to food, they are also used for cosmetics.” And more specifically, snail eggs can also be processed like caviar, just like salmon.” Now, let me discover how they raise snails.” To start a snail farm were going to buy some snails at spring.” in the right conditions, they can hibernate for 3 months, we will wake it up in March for laying.” And they are placed in the laying room, their food during this period is mainly cereal and they will lay eggs in these little plastic pots, and we will collect it for the next step.” 1 is hatching for a baby snail, 2 is taking eggs to make caviar if the farm is big enough.” The incubation period, usually after 2 weeks, the snail will fully hatch.” Depending on the farm and size, they will be raise in a greenhouse or outdoors." Or a combination of both.” The next part that is the outdoor farming, it will maximize the size of the of the snail, the snails will be covered by the wood pallet, their current food would be grass and kind of a mustard plant.” Culture time will be from April to September and harvest, the misting system is also a temperature regulator.” Water will usually have a temperature 15 degrees Celsius higher than the environment, and be clean water.” Temperatures Harvest Time! The snail reaches a diameter of about 4-5 cm.” Collect snail eggs to make caviar.” Cosmetic making process.” They use slime secreted from snails.” The most popular is the lotion cream
So many questions. I don't see any netting or fences. How do you keep predators out of there? Do the plants need fertilizer to provide sufficient food? Is there an effort to selectively breed the snails by harvesting the smaller and weaker ones while allowing the larger ones to reproduce? Are mold/mildew/fungus a problem?
