We moved recently.. ofc gave an option of extra baggage so i have got all my kicthen utensils and kids toys and lot of books too.. We even purchased cookers and idli maker etc Everything is available here. Every single thing in indian stores :) but it will be around 30 to 40% more than what you pay in India.. So you can choose to either save money or energy shopping packing and lugging all the luggage!! 😅 porters cost a lot at airports here.. we ended up paying 30$ to the porter to move luggage from conveyor belt till cab coz it was impossible for me to move 5 suitcases alone.. And 1100 Rs at airport in India for porter.. For any cargo u can check garudavega courier services.. around 800 per kilo they charge. Most widely used courier and cargo service from India to US.. Finally I'd say , some tadka items , coffee powder , ghee, and frozen tadka banake bring off.. 3 to 4 weeks you can manage..
