I feel like this chef deserves a "bloom steel" (traditional Japanese steel) spatula & fork combo! Forged in traditional Japanese smithing techniques. Complete with hamone... Proper tools for a "Chef-murai" ⛩️👺
True, I've been to Teppanyaki places in various parte of the world since the early '80s (I'm 50+) and while 90% of the tricks are always the same this guy does have a couple up his sleeve that I'm seeing for the first time. Also there was this Teppanyaki place called "Shogun" in New Haven in 1982 with a chef that did a trick I've never seen again by anybody elsewhere: he would cook shrimps and then behead/shell/fling them onto customers plates with a lightning speed 3-motion trick that was literally unbelievable...like something out of Matrix the movie, never missing a "landing" in anyones plate.
Can you imagine this guy at his daughters 6th birthday party? “Here you go sweetie, make a wish and blow out your candles on your birthday cake!”…….17:28
When he did the Dragon Ball Z fire fist and slammed it on the steak, I absolutely fuckin lost it!!!!! This chef is one of the best I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen several teppanyaki chefs and their skills/tricks!!! Better than a Vegas magic show by far!!!!
