JP is two and a half years old and can speak Xhosa fluently. He travels to Khayelitsha with his parent's house keeper, on a regular basis. Khayelitsha is a very dangerous area where few white people would dare to enter. Enjoy the video!!! For update and photos of JP go to: / alexxdekock

I’m white my husband is Puerto Rican. Our kids mixed obviously. Our daughter started 6 th grade 3 yrs ago and had never heard of the N word. It’s wasn’t a discussion that ever came up because we faced racial issues when my husband and I got married 21 yrs ago. So we always taught our kids acceptance of any religion and race. In 6th grade is when kids at school started talking about it. She came home confused as to why we never discussed it with her. I asked her what she wanted to know. I answered her questions and then told her about our experience with racism. She understood why it’s wasn’t really a discussion. My husband and I don’t see color or religion we see people. We also were fortunate enough to be military and live in other countries. I love learning other cultures. Sorry so long.

When that land was supposedly taken almost 400 years ago it was worthless soil on worthless land , and considering the times if the shoe was on the other foot there wouldn't have been a white man left alive. Now that the Boer built that land into profitable lands and created a country with all it's infrastructures you think it's just to simply hand it over to Blacks. Now what you did with my statements about the murdered white farmers is typical of your average lefty ideologist where they take what you said blow it out of proportion and attack their own statements , i never said it was a genocide but there are white farmers being murdered at an alarming rate simply for being white and working the land but of course you believe what your leaders tell you and simply agree that they are robberies because you don't want it to be anything else , and your numbers are wrong and come from corrupt sources. You mention the mighty ANC lol they're arguably one of the most corrupt Governments on Earth that don't give a shit about their fellow Blacks , you talk about numbers look into polls and how many Black people were happier under apartheid. Now continue with your pathetic insults because they mean nothing to me just like your baseless arguments that ooze ignorance , and if me not responding back to you is running scared of Black independence bahahahaha you've got more to worry about than commenting back to a RU-vid comment dipshit.

Isn't this the South Africa that always has been? Forgive me, but I'm a historian and I remember reading that even in the days if Apartheid there were white families whose children learned multiple languages beyond English and Afrikaans. I suspect these were families who had nannies who spoke those languages and families who had other reasons to teach the languages to their children (being political dissidents or residing in areas where the languages were essentially unavoidable.) I'm not a specialist in African history but I'm certain that I've read this from reliable sources. If it's wrong, i would be interested to know that. And yes, he's adorable. I've always envied people who learned multiple languages at an early age. They really do have a huge advantage when they grow up. I learned three languages as a young adult but it's a painfully slow process without the kind of early childhood experiences that this little fellow is getting!

Children are born with open hearts - there is nothing but love and wonder in them. Would that such open hearts remained so throughout life. Wouldn't life be better for everyone? @UP-ww9si

INSANE BASTARD Racist behavior is learned, but people are naturally drawn to what they can relate to. One of my best friends (who is white, and NOT racist) has a young daughter who recently told her mom that at school all of her friends hug each other but she feels uncomfortable hugging her black friends. Obviously her mom corrected her and dealt with the situation as delicately as she could, but clearly that was something her daughter thought of in the first place because she herself is white and somebody who looks different confuses her. If adults act that way then yes, that's 100% a choice and they're just racist. But sometimes children can be "racist" without having it taught to them. It's just a trait I think everyone has in them. One that can change and mature of course.

@UP-ww9si
@UP-ww9si 5 лет назад
INSANE BASTARD you're seriously misunderstanding what the other user is saying and I'm not sure why you're getting so heated over it. Racism IS an INNATE trait in everybody. No, somebody in court saying "sorry judge I was born racist" wouldn't be a valid excuse, and I'm sure you know that but decided to use that dumb point anyway. First of all if they're in court then obviously they did something illegal. Being "born racist" still doesn't give anyone an excuse to ACT racist. There's a huge difference. And you also sarcastically said everyone must be born homophobic too. News flash...yeah that's absolutely true. For example I'm a lesbian but when I was a child, seeing two women together really weirded me out. For whatever reason.. I was okay with gay guys but lesbians made me uncomfortable. Because it was foreign to me and made no sense. It wasn't what I was used to. Did I clearly change my opinion? Duh. Also, watch RU-vid videos of remote islands full of black tribesmen who see a white person for the first time. It scares the shit out of them. Some tribes think different races are literally the devil incarnate. Everyone prefers what they know and is scared of what they don't. I don't see what's so wrong with admitting that humans are born liking one thing more than the other. Once everyone actually acknowledges that then maybe progress can be made. Instead of denying it and attacking people, like you're doing.

@@checkmattee222 I was referring to the languages my friend's parents were speaking. They came from smaller communities, smaller scale, less known. And, had known some that weren't from Africa at all. I just thought it was amazing that they know languages that weren't widely spoken even in Africa. Never said they were JUST from little communities.

I'm South African and it's the norm to speak more than one language here. We've got 11 official languages. I probably speak about 6 or more. You get so used to it you don't even think to count how many you speak. It's everyday life switching between all of them.

Only came across this video in 2021, beautiful relationship!! I always say that languages were not created to separate us, but to teach us love. I can feel the love between this handsome little fellow and uSisi. This is truly the Africa we want to see!!

Being a nanny is hard when you part ways with the child you are looking after. Bonds are created and live forever. You become so attached to the child like it's your own. You notice a lot of things that you never noticed your kids doing and makes you appreciate life more. To all those with nannies please let them be in touch with your kids when you part ways. Believe me it will be special....

***** no youre not! LMAO. ive seen plently of ethiopeans cause ive actually been to africa. i celebrated channukah with them it was very nice. then i decided to vist africa and what do i see? a bunch of african americans trying to protest that the real jews are black and that their the real jews! LOL. no one said jews were white, and african americans look nothing like jews. yes, jews are black. but a completly differint black culture than you. thats just like saying all white americans are british. two differint people honey.
@user-uc9py3gy8x
@user-uc9py3gy8x 7 лет назад
also. its been debunked that 95 percent of all americans are mixed. even the white americans. theres only a 0.5 percent differince between all black and white people in american now. so youre pretty much the same race.

African children speak their mother tongue, the national language of their country and the official language of instruction in their country. case in point, Kenya. Almost all Kenyan children learn to speak 3 languages by age 4 i.e Kiswahili, English and Mothertongue(language of their tribe/ethnic group).

Exactly! Most africans have no interest in speaking to outsiders in their home language anyways.
