In the end I realised it's a fight I can't win so I went bald 1 month ago and never looked back. With a weave you'll realize it's still not your own hair and will keep thinking about it. If you go bald shave it and work on other parts of your life that you can control.

Think false teeth. You have to apply glue to your raw gums and then put the false teeth on top of the glue. You go days with glued up gums. Pores and saliva glands are covered and then you are eating on top of that. Imagine the bacteria in your mouth. But people been wearing false teeth for decades with no problem.
