@@cashfamilyfarm9637 Thank you so much! I feel better now that Burlingame is right across the bay and your family is growing these beautiful flowers. I will get some tree peonies this fall. I bought some herbaceous peonies from Costco couple months ago when they were in buds. They bloomed so well. Will see how they do next year. Does your family sell tree peonies? Thank you.
@@ruthwolf7697 we do not sell peonies, just buy for our pleasure. When my aunt moved from Burlingame to Northern CA, she brought her tree peonies with her and I inherited them when my husband and I purchased her property where we live now.
@@cashfamilyfarm9637 do you divide Kao? And is it very leggy? The branches look very thin and long, I'd this the style of the plant? Would you happen to have any more videos?
@@emnoi6216 I have divided them all and yes, they are very thin and leggy, I believe due to my interference. I am going to leave them all alone now that they have been planted into their permanent homes. Before when I would dig them up to move them, they all looked easy to divide, almost as if they were already two plants. I don't need to move them now, so they can just get big and hopefully have thicker stems.
Each bloom lasts for several days and a tree peony can bloom for about 1 week if it has more than one bloom on it. I have a red tree peony that bloomed for 8 days this year. It has 13 blooms that slowly opened one at a time till they were all open.
