Isn’t one of the definitions of hack “strategy or technique”? Yes, it is. I’d say that a lot of these were hacks. If you’re working on a project at home or on the job site and didn’t have the tool(s) to continue working or finish a task, but you had the resources shown in this video to quickly find a solution… hmmm …should I stop what I’m doing, drive to a store, find parking, stand in line to check out, get back in my car, drive home and THEN get back to work? Or should I just be a badass handy man and make my own damn tools and create my own solutions? Yeah, I’ll go with the second choice. Go watch a different channel dude. Don’t be that guy
@@monty3849 if your definition of being “a badass handyman” is subpar technique and materials that will lead to subpar results, I would respectfully suggest you don’t do any kind “handyman” work for yourself. 3/4 of this video is halfassing a job that can very easily be done correctly with a little bit of foresight, but hey, you do you chief, just don’t inconvenience whoever you gotta call to fix the mess.
This platform reminds me of the Great Library of Alexandria. A compilation of tech from various people from around the world. This time even fire can't squelch the knowledge. (Unless its some kind of digitized flame I suppose. )d>_0b nice vid a per u
