Thank you so much! 😊 Happy that you liked the pattern! 💪 It has delivered a lot of brown trout here in the cool north so I think it works for Rainbow too! 🤘
I really like the look of this.. I will probably simplify it some, and tie it more sparsely (personal taste) but I really admire how it looks. You also used a few materials that I MUST find. Good stuff!
Thanks @Matt Fleming 😊💪👊🏻 Yeah this is little more complex pattern because, like the name tells you, I didn’t want to make average baitfish pattern 😂😅👍 Good to hear that I was able to give some inspiration to you! Tight lines mate! 💪👊🏻
@@handsomeflyfisher837 The results speak for themselves! Beauty! And a special thanks.. the saltwater angel hair is VERY similar to an "Awesome Hair" that I purchased a few bags of when I was a teenager. It was amazing to work with. It was discontinued years ago and I have been looking for a suitable replacement since. This has the fiber length I was looking for. I lost my last Awesome Hair baitfish on a very very large brown trout in a tailwater 4-5 years ago. I kind of missed it 😉 That angelina sheen in a baitfish can elicit some crazy predatory strikes.
@Whittler33 thanks for your comment! For this pattern I wanted to build it up a little bit different than ”basic” one. For example you can leave the hackles out. And if you want to tie really simple pattern just go with bucktail and flashabou 👌👍 Speeding up the videos is all about my style to do them and you don’t need to show every single step in real time (like combing the hairs with needle or ripping the flashabou etc.). It takes around 20minutes to tie one of these and yeah I fish with these and I’ve caught many trouts with this pattern! 😊💪🤘 Have a great spring & summer and tight lines mate! 👊🏻
