Amazing... this is a very detailed tour of the factory. To be honest i just received my Concept MC and is about to unbox it tomorrow. Seeing this tour video puts my mind at peace that i purchased an amazing piece made with labor of love and detailed talents. Plus plus plus... the team they have appears as a family and it makes this much more amazing! Excellent interview Terry more success to you!

This is an awesome video! It's great to see a manufacturer who manufactures parts from materials into a finished unit, with skilled staff who hand solder and assemble the components.

So interesting to compare ClearAudio’s factory to Rega. Rega is a bit chaotic inside, people everywhere, music playing, people running about. CoearAudio is like a library lol. Very German. Very precise.

Ever since I replaced my "deer hide" platter mat (which is also great) with an "acrylic" mat , I've had absolutely ZERO problems with static! It comes in a choice of many colors including clear!

Terry. Thanks for showing us the company Clearaudio. That garnet red tt, ..... This week I hope very soon to have a PERFORMANCE DC + Jelco arm ... JJEJJjjejjejej .... I can't wait any longer .... Look at a 1200gr technics, and the plates were bent, too much. Clearaudio seems better, much better. If you are a dj, Technics is not bad, for hifi also perfect, but those dishes that you see here on youtube ahhhhhhhhh like an egg instead of axis.

Does the custom color generates huge extra cost ? the performance DC with translucent plater and silver / white / Silver finish looks gorgeous ! It could be a Dieter Rams or Jonathan Ive product

Used to have a Clearaudio Tallisman V2 cartridge. The sound of vinyl was very clear and very edgy. Kind of an expensive cd player. Everything was "all right '' but the analog feeling was not there. It was not problem of the system, because with another cartridge everything came out right.

I was considering this cart; what did you end up with and what does your system consist of? Did you consider their Charisma v2 MM?

@@mahasidha9 I ended up with a Shelter 501 mk3. The rest of the system is an Audio Hungary Oualiton A20i amp, Remton 383 mkii phono stage, Original Live Resolution mk4 with Reed 2a tonearm.Speakers are Audiosolutions Rapsody 60.All the cables are from Tellurium Q.I know but i never heard the MM cartridge of Clearaudio that you mention. Hope i helped you.

@@Boudas72 thank you very much for your immediate reply; shelter has long been on my radar but even the Shelter 5000 (which I believe replaces your 501) is close to $4,000 now. Any other suggestions?

@@mahasidha9 Your welcome. 5000 does not replace 501.It is just another model. You can check also Phasemation. It is a company from Japan, and their cartridges are very interesting. Take a look at the website of the company,and try an audition if that is possible. The sound is excellent. Keep in touch if you have any news.

@@Boudas72 I am 71 years old and remember when you could walk into a brick and mortar store and audition 5 turntables. Regrettably it simply is impossible to audition cartridges; presently I have a Sumiko Blackbird HO which I like a great deal. It is in a Pro-ject RPM 10 Carbon

Great video. I just purchased a Clearaudio Concept with the Satisfy tonearm and the Performer v2 moving magnet cartridge. Cheers. 😎 Ps......I bet you didn't see any Dirac Live room correction in they're listening room did you. You should have asked him to put Dirac in his system and set it up for him. LMFAO.

Are yes Clearaudio: Bought a NZ$2000 Clearaudio cartridge and a small weight came with the cartridge. There was no mention of the weight in the instructions. So I emailed Clearaudio to ask about the weight. I got NO REPLY. So I emailed them again, still NO ANSWER. So even though they rave on in the video about how good they are , they failed to answer a simple question about an EXPENSIVE Clearaudio cartridge . Clearaudio rave on about craftsmanship etc but cannot even get simple customer relations right. RATING = CLEARAUDIO. 1 out of 10.

worst counterweight design.. period (most tables/tonearms) super hard to turn and rotate unless using a turbo-weight that slides ... you can damage the tonearm (and yourself) just trying to rotate the weight. So much for German pride & engineering. "we really take care about" he says ... not
