We are in Kuantan (Pahang) and today we are going to Teluk cempedak (Pantai Teluk Cempedak), one of the most popular beach here. We are really impressed by this lively beach and this is definitely one of the things to do in Kuantan. We really enjoyed it and we also tried for the first time the roti tissue (tisu prata).

Since you were wondering, where the restricted access was meant to head to, it was actually a route to the smaller beach on the most left of the Teluk Cempedak, which can still be seen (I believe can also still be accessed by swimming) from the main beach. It was also a route to a jungle trekking track to the small hill. But the reason they close the route, perhaps due to upgrading/maintenance, as some parts of the the bridge have been decaying.
