I think RV is created to be good as a group.. Seulgi's tone is really unique and I really love when she harmonizes. I feel like she always knows how to complement her partner's vocal. Yes to the WenSeul unit idea! Honestly if Wendy hadn't been working her way back to being on stage all of 2020 I would have loved a WenSeul unit just as much as the ASeul unit, albeit for different reasons. Wendy and Seulgi have performed quite a few duets over the years together; though much of that happened in their rookie days, so they have definitely improved since then. They also sang a few OSTs together. Their vocal blend is sublime

Aside from Mamamoo, Red Velvet members really complement each other's voices. Their harmony doesn't sound like the generic girl group sound. It just stands out so well because each member offers different flavor, Wendy alone has so many voices in her and the rest of the group as well. I would like to think of them as an orchestra, sure solos are indeed amazing but when every section is present the grandeur of the sound is just immaculate, spaces are filled. Brings you to places.
