Ever since I created the first version of this video a year ago I've been wanting to try it again with more water and better lighting / footage. This is a really fun project and when you first see the results, chances are your jaw will drop. The main thing to keep in mind for this project is that you need a camera that shoots 24 fps.
The effect that you are seeing can't be seen with the naked eye. The effect only works through the camera. However, there is a version of the project you can do where the effect would be visible with the naked eye. For that project, you'd have to use a strobe light.
For this project you'll need:
A powered speaker
Water source
Soft rubber hose
Tone generating software
24 fps camera
Tape.
Run the rubber hose down past the speaker so that the hose touches the speaker. Leave about 1 or 2 inches of the hose hanging past the bottom of the speaker. Secure the hose to the speaker with tape or whatever works best for you. The goal is to make sure the hose is touching the actual speaker so that when the speaker produces sound (vibrates) it will vibrate the hose.
Set up your camera and switch it to 24 fps. The higher the shutter speed the better the results. But also keep in the mind that the higher your shutter speed, the more light you need. Run an audio cable from your computer to the speaker. Set your tone generating software to 24hz and hit play.Turn on the water. Now look through the camera and watch the magic begin. If you want the water to look like it's moving backward set the
frequency to 23hz. If you want to look like it's moving forward in slow motion set it to 25hz.
Have fun!

Principle: Energy is transmitted through Seismic Waves (Mechanical Waves) which requires medium to travel. Here, The medium comprises of 2 fluids (Air + Water). Now, the frequency of the Waves used (in this case Sound frequency should be comparable to Activation frequency of the medium). So, the person who is operating tried different frequencies till he reaches a point where Sound Frequency and Medium's Activation Frequency interact to give meaningful shapes. Actually, same effect is observed in Air also. But, due to the limitation of our senses, We are not able to perceive it until water is used.

I believe it is more simple than this. The water stream is activated by the water hose mechanical motion in this shape by mechanical coupling to speaker. The frames/sec of camera recording is critical to the “forward” and “reverse” perception we have. I guess you mean the air molecules are also being activated by the hose, which is true, but we don’t see that but of course can see it. Very cool

this isnt anything to do with that, its merely the frame rate capability. when viewing a spinning wheel or airplane propeller, they can appear to be still, go forward, reverse, or even look bent based on 2 factors, how fast the image is captured and how quickly the display renders the image, i think it goes top left to bottom right? in the time it took for the image to be captured, the object rotated, giving a curvature or shift forward or backward, and is falsely rendered to the screen. a funny video i saw was of a helicopter which happened to have the same rpm of its blades as the frame rate of the camcorder, and every time the camcorder took another picture, the blades had done 1 full rotation. in every image the blades were in the same spot, so it was just flying around with what appeared to be stationary blades.

sobreaver - praise God, he invented it. When I was baptised as an adult I was flooded with a low frequency energy, a woman in the church simultaneously exclaimed out loud 'Can you feel that!'. It felt to me as if I had been plugged painlessly into the national grid and a low resonating vibration went right through my body which lasted for about 15 seconds. I have no doubt that God is energy. Light is the highest frequency we know of but I wonder if there is a higher one transcending it in the form of spirit.

To get around the Stroboscopic effect we're looking at 2450Mhz the resonance for water (in which case it evaporates). I imagine that would require a microscope to have it IRL for a short time. The goal is to have a larger duty cycle that will work at any frequency vs 1% duty cycle at a certain frequency which requires swapping the materials or magnification power.

It's not fake. To the naked eye, it would just look like a mess of water falling. However, the camera only records 24 frames per second. By setting the speaker to 24hz, it moves the water into a pattern that is exactly the same 24 times a second. When the camera opens its lens, the water is in the same pattern each time. By slowly speeding it up or slowing it down, you can make the water look like it's traveling up or down. It's the same concept as when you're watching a car's wheels spin and it starts to appear that it's spinning backwards. It's actually not. It's just spinning at the right speed for your eye to perceive it that way.

It's not really in reverse. The water is indeed falling downwards, the only thing going "up" is the phase shift of the wave created in the water stream. It's just as natural as the "forward" mode in which you saw what *looks* like water going down in slow motion, but is actually just the shape of the waveform changing in time.
@johnmarshall390
@johnmarshall390 10 лет назад
Guys.. The camera is recording at 24 hz, if the water is oscillating at 23 Hz, it will look like a reverse effect but the drops will still hit the ground because to us it looks like they are moving up but in reality they are moving down. Pretty simple physics

It is due to matching the framerate of the camera with the speaker frequency. With the naked eye you would see what appears to be random splashing. However, you can set it up in a darker area, using a strobe light matched to the speaker frequency, and then the stair step effect will be visible to the naked eye.

Cats purr when injured or sick to heal themselves. Perhaps it does cause some reordering of the liquid state of blood that contributes to their healing. Not hard to believe that the wrong frequency of purr could be harmful.

Energy, vibration, frequencies, When I was baptised as an adult I was suddenly flooded with a low frequency energy, a woman in the church simultaneously exclaimed out loud 'Can you feel that!'. It felt to me as if I had been plugged painlessly into the national grid and a low resonating vibration went right through my body which lasted for about 15 seconds. I have no doubt that God is energy. Light is the highest frequency we know of but I wonder if there is a higher one transcending it in the form of spirit.

ThisIs MyName You can heal (listen to something uplifting and it can help your bodies health and immune system) and you can kill. The soviets (I think it was in the 50s) discovered a frequency range that made people sick, it was actually by accident. So the scientists wanted to find a way of magnifying the power that would take out massive numbers of people on the battle field.
