I think you need a table thats 1" thick so I suggest you have a channel give away and get rid of it lol. Make a nice piece for one of us viewers lol.... Awesome video
Shot of brake kleen and a piece of duct or electrical tape on the finger and forget about it. Sweet table Arco will be well worth the effort and last forever.
Do yourself a favor, and get either the cutting and tapping fluid from McMaster Carr www.mcmaster.com/1146K61 or use the Hougan type water based in a spray bottle. Penetrating fluids like PB Blaster and WD-40 are lubricants, and while they will work to some degree, mostly in the cooling aspect, you will have much better results and bit life using one of those two cutting fluids. Believe me I have drilled THOUSANDS of holes, much of it 304 and 316 Stainless Steel, as well as Galvanized. Some jobs I drilled several hundred holes with one bit, no sharpening in between. Just a heads up. Great table, BTW!
Cool table mods! Man I hate cutting myself so close to a joint cause you got to deal with it the rest of the day moving your hand ugh!!! Man I love those transfer punches for putting in set screws right on the money...told Joey about them too you can get them cheap.
That is going to be one great table. I spent many years in manufacturing, wish I would of had a table like that. Are you tapping all the holes so you don't have to crawl under the table. Good job Bro.

To bad no one could lone you this drill gun I seen that clamps to the table to drill holes just for that job. I saw this guy make a welding table like that. Like you said the drill gun is very expensive, but if someone had it to lone would make the job a hole lot easier. Right on you made do with what you got it will be very accurate 👍🏽 It will make clamping stuff down a whole lot easier you already won half the battle.
Trust me you won’t regret it. That table is the most used thing in my shop. Best thing I ever did. And and the other thing is don’t try to use just a regular drill you won’t do it. Ok I got a 927 its got power feed and moves 1/2 in in x and y basically its mini mag Bridgeport set it walk away to do something else 90 sec or 2 min ish u got a hole
