Wonderful wildlife of Tucson AZ
DESCRIPTION
In this video you will find the abundant variety of wild life living in the wash just feet from our home in Tucson AZ . We feel so lucky to be able to witness the interaction between all the wildlife here and the environment in which they live out their lives. Due to limited water sources I decided to give the wildlife a break and put in a watering hole. It is enjoyed by hundreds that visit daily. The Water Hole was dug by hand and connected to our irrigation system for daily fillings. I placed the Water hole in the wash 30 feet from our patio. Most of these animals we have been able to see in person but our Covert brand trail camera doesn’t miss any of the action. This footage was gathered from September to June.

Love this set up with the watering hole. Thinking of putting something similar together behind my house. Also my cat loves this video

I just redid my water hole. Put in a kidney shaped preformed basen with a drain plumbed in. Also hooked it to my irrigation system. It gets filled for one min every day. I can now open a drain an completely drain in about three min. Now it a breeze to clean out.

@@ricksmith578 sounds like a great set up. I'm thinking of splicing in a line from my pool filler. The drain is a good idea. My set up at my last house grew a lot of algae and it was tough to empty and clean.
