I did this, this summer. They take you through 1 safety demonstration then a small zip line to get used to the stance that your meant to do, a fun fact our guide told us was that the first actual zip line you go on is the tallest on out of all of them. I was so close to dipping out but you only live once and it felt so surreal never felt anything like it loved every second of it!
Just got back from Costa Rica. My go pro footage was terrible the camera was positioned wrong the whole time. I’m so happy I found this vid. Absolutely exhilarating. If you’re watching this and planning, THIS IS THE BEST ZIPLINE IN ARENAL. Maybe all of CR.
Awesome we went in February and it was cloudy and raining. Still totally amazing to be flying through the clouds and rain but never saw the top of Arenal or even Arenal at all during our time there! Nice to see it here! Thanks
I don't know how many times I said "Oh my God" as I did that circuit, especially when I stopped moving about 40 feet to the end of the 2nd line (which I was told by a guide, it is the highest in Costa Rica).😵
Hi Delia, I would like to contact you to request permission to use a few seconds of your video in a High School Spanish Program for High School. Please let me know how can I contact you. thanks!
It doesn’t even deserve the one star. The place “Sky Adventures In Arenal Costa Rica” is the worst. We are a family of 5 which includes 3 adults And 2 little kids of 7 & 14. 2 of the adults went on the Sky Trek zip line and said it was alright. But said it is overpriced. The little kids and other adult toke the SKY TRAM!! DONT DO THIS! IT was $80 for the adult and $60 each for the little kids! All what happened was like a clear open elevator that lasted for 8 minutes. Then we asked this worker where to go and she sent us to a path. And said “ all you need to do is walk and follow the arrows”. This was the WORST!! There were a total of maybe 8 signs with arrows in the many miles we walked. It was muddy, and very exhausting. The path kept going up,down,up and it was TERRIBLE! The path is not an easy path and it has the children super tired. My youngest felt tired and dehydrated. My oldest (14 years) claimed she was feeling dizzy and like she was going to faint. This clearly is a terrible place. And when we finally got out of the annoying forest park BY OURSELVES. The employees are disrespectful. They start LAUGHING in our faces and claimed they didn’t laugh when they clearly did because they were looking straight at us. And also tell us we choose to be in that situation because we chose not to bring a guide when we weren’t offered one. They also claimed that by walking in that path it was a “HONOR FOR US” however being stuck in that Forest path was never an honor. And that they apparently sent guides and people to search for us. However if this was actually a good place they would have found us and helped us but they DIDN’T!! If we got hurt or died or a wild animal attacked or something they wouldn’t have noticed, cared, or provide us with the help they needed because of the bad service. DONT GO HERE!!
I don’t care how great your experience was. I wrote this to have people know to watch out because it was a rip off and totally unacceptable from their part. How is it that they leave people like that condition? Also when we were talking to the DISRESPECTFUL employees they said THEMSELVES that it is pretty normal it happens like 3 times a month that people take that path and come out like that. But if it happens that much I strongly believe THEY SHOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Or at least they should offer the guide. Like I said they never offered a guide and that was a real problem or at least improve the signs and the amount of signs. My children were tired, dehydrated, dizzy, and should have never gone through that. Therefore I wrote this to inform that there is cons. to this experience.
