I love cozy Craftsman houses! Sad to see a remodel instead of a restoration, but this one is fairly respectful to the original design. Love the warm colors on the walls!
I share a 1920's bungalow in Mass. 884 sq. ft. It needs total renovations. Just waiting to win lottery to rehab it properly. (25 yr. old roof, 41-year-old furnace, original cedar shake siding, etc. And a wonderful front porch.
I know this has to be Cali, cause a 3 bedroom 2 bath in the south is like 300 K. This is 1 M. Dam who living in that. Better be a exclusive neighborhood.
@@phyllisanngodfrey6137 I can see how that may be an opinion but it’s actually all relative. Housing prices in SoCal have always been some of the highest in the nation. Our ideal weather and income potentials are factors behind that. 1,000’s of homes sell every year and grow in value every year. But I agree, it would be amazing if they were less.
@@BungalowAgent Ideal weather….earthquakes, forest fires, routine droughts, extreme heat, power grid failures, horrific traffic……Bungalow Agent, are you trying to sell me a house in SoCal? Check out the skit on Saturday Night Live called ‘The Californians’. That will tell you what the rest of the country thinks of SoCal…….and I didn’t even mention Harry and Meghan and the mass exodus from the state under Gavin. I wouldn’t even have posted this comment, if you hadn’t referred to the the ‘ideal weather’ 😜. I’m glad you love where you live and sell multi-million dollar bungalows in Tony neighborhoods……that would sell for $400k in central PA. PS my husband earns a six figure salary as an electrical engineer for HERSHEY Foods and I earn $70K as a customer service manager. We also have great medical care and over all quality of life.
I understand painting original woodwork in California. Coziness is not what Californians want. But a million plus? Yeah. One more reason NOT to live in California. Wonderful to visit: I do so every couple of years, but thank heavens I escaped it 50 years ago when it was still a good place to live.
