I would keep the floor boards separate when packing up. Just make up a few straps to tie them together in their own little bundles. Makes life a lot easier on the old back.

Thank you for making this.. I packed up my Bris 9.8 and was exhausted while doing it.. I'm 53 and thought "man I'm getting old" but after seeing a much younger man huffin the same way I feel good. Your channel is the reason I bought it..

Glad we could help! We had to pack and unpack both of them a few times over the past week and it does get a bit easier after that, but its definitely a workout.

No More huffing and puffing to install and dismantle floor The trick is simple: to install the side bars while the dinghy is partially inflated then INFLATE the keel fully this lifts the floor and allows you to insert the side bars with a minimum of effort To remove the floor deflate the boat but keep the keel inflated until you remove the side bars )

Great tip, I didn't know the foot/hand pump was reversible. With a 12.5 I found that pulling the top of the tubes inboard, especially at the transom while deflating really cuts down the length. If you pull to much air it's very difficult to make it smaller because of friction, but if overall volume/length isn't an issue, no problem.

Hey, I just found your channel, very cool and great information. Question for you, I am going to buy an inflatable this month with an Aluminum floor and transom. Is it best to store the boat deflated in the bag over the Winter months " I live in the Northeast" or keep it inflated. I am also concerned with mice getting in to the garage and eating the PVC Any recommendations? Thanks so much

Once broken down you can fit the boat in most hatchback or wagons and even in sedans with large trunks. With practice, it only takes about 10 minutes to fully break down.

Hello, I’m about to order this boat but I have a couple of questions, do I have to register this boats? Can I install a 3.5 HanKai motor?
@HufflerGarage
@HufflerGarage 4 месяца назад
It depends on your jurisdiction. Where we live, you must register the boat if you put any motor on it.

I cant seem to find any with COO or HID and the state of Illinois wont let me on public waters with a motor. A real bummer I want one of these so bad
@HufflerGarage
@HufflerGarage 2 года назад
All of the BRIS dinghies should come with an MCO/MSO & HIN. That should be all you need to register.

Hello , can I register this boats ?
@HufflerGarage
@HufflerGarage Год назад
I would check the requirements with your jurisdiction (state/province/country/etc.) to make sure, but these boats come with a Hull ID Number (HIN) and a Manufacturers Statement of Origin (MSO/MCO). That was all we needed to register them in our state.

What is the point in using a pump to deflate the boat? just open the valves,roll the boat and put your weight on the folded boat for a few seconds.
@HufflerGarage
@HufflerGarage Год назад
When you do it that way, you end up with air pockets forming as you try to fold it up. Pumping all of the air out makes it much easier to fold.
@boatsandoutboards9070
@boatsandoutboards9070 Год назад
@@HufflerGarage I have a itiwit kayak and a 9ft grand corvette and never had such an issue. on the contrary, it is very difficult to fold a fully deflated boat. you need to deflate & fold at the same time. the case for boat may be different, maybe its pvc is thicker.

I'm surprised we haven't managed to rip them as thin as the materials are. The bag may be covered under warranty. Probably not, but its worth a shot.
