Amazon just announced the new versions of the Echo Show, Echo Dot, and Echo Plus. Dan Seifert spent some time using the new speakers - all of them are improvements on their predecessors with nicer designs, more features, and most noticeably, better sound.

This review is not up to the verge standard.. the video seems really blurred and hazy (idk if that’s the environment lighting’s fault) and it seems really unscripted, and the ‘background’ music is so loud it’s difficult to hear what’s happening.

Can you confirm that the echo dots can stereo pair with the sub? Amazon app says pair two of the same echo on the sub page but do not mention it working on the dot page. Two dots and a sub would go better in the room I want stereo music in.

So, you guys edit your videos, right? And you’re pretty tech savvy, right? You realize that “Alexa” is what’s called a “trigger word” and by saying it, you trigger pretty much every echo within earshot, right.. My point.... don’t keep saying ALEXA! Bleep it out, edit it out or just don’t say it. We all know it’ll tell you the weather, you don’t have to demo that for us.

Well, I don't see how you can compare a tablet with a handsfree (screen less) voice activated device. And if you have a smart home, or use Amazon prime services, yes, you want Alexa to be everywhere, in your phone, living room, bedroom, even in your car! So you can take full advantage of it! Unless you want to go down stairs to ask your only echo device to turn off your bedroom light or to lock the doors!!

Had to quit the playback since I had a battle with my Alexa's while watching the video. Why don't u beep everytime you say Alexa? I bet I'm not the only one with this problem and other tech RU-vidr are doing this.
