5 months ago I purchased this bike and it is currently waiting to be sent to the dump. I took it on a paved trail and the chain fell off the front gear. I pedaled 1/2 rotation before noticing and it completely destroyed the piece that changes the gears. I went on amazon to replace it and of course nothing was compatible. It is currently being used for its tires and brakes on my little brothers bike. Ive moved onto a Sur-ron. They are pricey, but electric, fast, and well constructed. They also have great modification opportunity. You really get what you pay for here.

I also ordered this bike. When I received the first one, the back wheel assembly that attaches to the shock absorber was bent. I reached out to the company and they suggested that I take it to a bike shop to see if it was able to be fix. The bike shop said it was beyond repair. Sent pictures of the work ticket to the company and they responded immediately. They offered a refund or new bike, I want the bike. Just received the second bike and everything looks good.
I came here looking for a bike from Amazon. This is a nice bike but I'll stick to something cheaper for now just for casual riding. I like the smooth flow of your video. It was easy to watch and follow.
Thanks for the video. Now I don't have to try to go by those confusing instructions. Lol I got the orange version and everything is good except for the left pedal arm. Unfortunately the threads are messed up and I have emailed the company asking for a replacement. If they will not send one I'll just buy one. Definitely agree on a few small upgrades. Especially the pedals and handlebars as neither one of those are the most comfortable.

Mine just arrived. First impressions: 1.This bike is NOT for the person who wants a bike ready to go. I spent a good 2 hours getting everything tuned just right and its still not perfect. 2. The full suspension is really nice. 3. Looks great. The stickers come off easy. Theyl probably fall off in a week. Overall 8/10. Definitely for the person who wants to tinker with a bike and figure out how things work.
@@stephanicarrillo1205 If you buy a bike from a shop they will have it tuned perfectly. This bike required a lot of work to tension the cables properly. Also, its complete trash. Mine is in the garage in pieces. I took it out on a PAVED road and the chain shredded the front derailure.

I'm glad the video was helpful to you. I would not consider this bike as a light weight bike, it's a little heavy. It's listed at 36.4 lbs but it feels much heavier. As far as style, it's a beautiful bike, but I would not consider it as a good mountain bike. It is more for casual paved road riding. Here are the specifications from the manufacturer. I’ll answer your question, NO! It won’t, the bike doesn’t fold completely flat and the handlebars stick straight up and down, unless you remove the front wheel, there is no way you can put this bike in the back seat of a car, folded or non folded, also the bike is heavy as hell, this bike just looks great, performance is below average.
My bike came with opposite breaks, left one was rear break, and right front…i had to switch them, took extra hour or two to do that. Also breaks always make rubbing noises, almost impossible to adjust them…i have been trying but could not fix that.
I’m having trouble getting the quick release hole unplugged. I don’t want to return the bike, but might have to if I can unplug that hole. How did you do it specifically z
@@sandimarie2 If it's plugged by that hard plastic, you can heat a long metal item such as a hanger or something similar to melt it out. I hope that helps.
We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. ru-vid.comUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!
I really appreciate this kind of real user reviews. Do you still like it? Based on what I’m seeing in your video I am interested but I don’t know whether it’s a better choice than other bikes for a beginner mountain bike.
Thank you! I really like the look and feel of it. It's a great looking bike for casual riding. However, it is not a true mountain bike. It is not durable enough for rough terrains. I used it for casual rides around the park and neighborhood. I would not buy it if I were you for rough mountain biking. I hope that helps.

I just bought a bike and now I want to sell it for a full size foldable bike after reading all the 1 star amazon reviews from $200 gold rated bike locks that get cut in broad daylight in heavy trafficked areas in minutes or less. I'm not gonna be another statistic.
Thank you for your comment. Yes the bike has 26 inch wheels and the seat is adjustable for your height. Depending on how you chose to use the bike, you can always raise the seat to make it more comfortable for your height. Hope that helps.
Your asking the wrong guy questions, if your 6’1” tall you need a 19” frame and a 27” wheel, look it up on Google, your legs will be too long for the pedals and knees will rise above the handlebars on a 26” bike.

Hi! The folding process is simple. If you have the same bike, it's around the 7:40 mark on the video. Just pull out the clip, lift the clip up to unlock. Beware the bike doesn't completely fold because of the pedals and all. I hope that helps.
I bought a similar one on EBAY, but the left pedal thread/nut hits the frame of the bike and won't go past it. And there's no way you can bend the metal bar or pull it out further from the bike (so it doesn't hit the frame). Looks like i'll be throwing this piece of crap away. Unless someone wants a bike that won't pedal. $200 wasted. Glad your bike worked out.
I'm sorry about your bad experience with your bike. Luckily mine continues to work as I need it too. I am a casual bicyclist, I don't do much mountain biking. I don't see this bike as a true every day mountain bike, it is more of a flat paved road bike.
@@daprince27studio I put the nut on the inside of the pedal spinner, instead. I don't even know if that is safe or not. It's the only way I can now get the pedals to not hit the frame. I only intended this bike for emergency prepping on neighborhood and street riding.

Hi! Mine came preassembled with the rotors already attached. But typically m5*10mm bolts are the standard for rotors. Try getting steel or titanium so they don't break. Hope that helps.
Do you suggest this as a city bike, just to go to work and cycling around on good roads ? Does it have quality construction and stickers are strongly durable or they fall off quick by themselves ? Thanks
Hi! The bike is listed as a mountain bike, but personally, it's not durable enough to be a true mountain bike. It's a nice looking bike, it's better fitted for flat paved road. As you mentioned, for cycling around on good roads.
A few questions..1. How tall are you and does it feel comfortable sitting and riding( maybe for hours) does it feel small?. 2. Does the seat raise to a much higher level? Cuz I like the seat much higher than the handle bar. 3. I heard on an Amazon reviewer that this bike was flimsy and do not buy. What do you think about that?
Hi! I'm 5'6". The original seat is very uncomfortable and not practical for long rides. I have.a second video on my channel where I changed the seat along with some other changes. With the modifications its comfortable for long rides. You can raise the seat, the bike is made for individual's up to about 6'1". The bike itself looks good and is fine for casual flat surface ride, the park, the beach, around the neighborhood, but it's not a true mountain bike. I hope that helps.

@@daprince27studio I was riding in my subdivision, I don't ride aggressive at all, I got this only for cardio, in my neighborhood. Trust, I really liked this bike..... but after seeing many...many bad reviews, I stand my ground. I had things fall apart before the accident, and I fixed that. The parts are cheaply designed .

I keep hearing a disparity between this bike being ok for someone 5-9,5-10 and others saying this is too small/short. How tall are you and what are your thoughts on this?
The bike specification stated for an individual up to 6 feet 3 inches tall. If you are under that height, you should be fine. The seat is adjustable, so 5'9 or 5'10 will work fine for you.

I wouldn't buy this for paved roads. It's a cheaply designed bike and dangerous. I've been out of for 2wks cause of this bike and just had surgery 6/15/22. I had this thing for 2mnths.....buyer beware
Mine is all put together but the wheel doesn't turn when I turn the handlebar. I took it apart and put it back together, it doesn't turn. They forgot a part when they assembled the fork. I'm fcking pissssssed😤 This seems to be the ongoing theme with Amazon. You start shopping around and then you see Amazon and think it's a great deal. Nope you just wait a week for something to arrive screwed up or doesn't work as advertised so not only are you unable to use the product, you have to arrange to ship it back and so you've wasted weeks and hours of assembly and shipping for a product you don't have😡

It's nothing major, I could fix it if I knew what part it needed or whatever needs done. I'm going to let a bike shop look at it. Hopefully it's something simple and I won't have to exchange it. Don't buy this cheaply designed bike. I felt the parts were cheap when I took it out the box. First one of the sprocket arms were stripped, so I had to rework that part to put the pedal on. 2nd, the front wheel bearings came loose while I was riding, I tighten it up...I thought it was fine, at least for a few weeks. The opposite pedal completely broke while riding on the street. Then this happened...... the front wheel came loose again while I was riding, then I was thrown at least 10'. 2 broke hands... the right hand will require surgery, facial rash that will require plastic surgery, and time off work. I had a full skull helmet, but wish I had a full face helmet. Luckily my helmet was Bluetooth, so I was able to get help. I only needed a bike for light workouts/cardio..... but I feel it's best to spend a little money for a better built, designed bike.
