I’m so excited to get started but my body is groaning don’t do it lol I’m hoping losing weight will help with my arthritis and fibromyalgia. And it will it’s just getting started, I’m fabulous and procrastinating. I’ve just bout some workout clothes, I just need to think how I’m going to kick things off. I really like that tape mesure, never knew those even existed, I may get one. you should look at the demo on qvc for the aero pilates machine, expensive but this is something I have used at least twice a week for the last 3 years, I even went on buying the neck pillow and the pull up bar. this machine is so great because you can run lying on your back so no pressure on joints , I do have flipping arthritis in my knee too. they tend to do it on tsv twice a year. I had the bicycle, just ended up being a clothes horse. this machine work out every part of your body plus the trampoline is the cardio part. you go for it girl. another thing I do now is I count my calories loss at the gym into kitkat finger because 200 or 300 calories means nothing but when you transfer it into food 53 calories for 1 stupid finger and it take you 10 minutes walking uphill to burn that you think twice before eating it. hope the thingy will fit your waist. and like you say a little bit of moving is better than not moving x
The Pilates machine looks awesome, it’s just have the space to use it. I haven’t tried the hoop on my waist yet, I’m to scared in case it doesn’t fit. But yeah I need to think about how I want to start things off 🥰 x
I’m also starting a similar journey to you Jo so you’re giving me some inspiration to get started. I’ve got ‘all the gear, no idea’ syndrome 😂. The tape measure is a reliant idea because I’ve done slimming world in the past, very successfully, but some months I didn’t lose a great deal but did lose inches so that kept the motivation going. There are videos on you tube for everything so it’s just finding ones that suit. Can’t wait to see how you get on 😃. I will say one thing… you need some dumb bells or just some little water bottles. I have problem with my arms too and the weight training has been the thing that’s started to actually help
Yeah I feel the same about all the gear and no idea lol it’s kind of a scary/lost/worried feeling I have on what do I try first and will it work. But I’ve got to start somewhere, good luck on you journey hun 🥰 x
Jo I feel your pain I have EDS I was diagnosed aged 30 had it all my life was great to get a name, people say oh you don’t look I’ll 😝 anyway good luck on your journey, I will be there by your side I am 13 st 5 pounds and only 5f 2 xx
Yeah that’s the worst isn’t it “but you look fine” “you don’t look ill” I’m 5f 3 and weigh a lot I’m just trying to decide where or how I want to start things off. Thank you my lovely 🥰 x
