Yess...I too love the Camille rose growth serum oil. The ingredients are great for healthy hair. It also contains amla....alot goodness in that bottle. And u get alot for the money.
Thanks for sharing I'm a older woman and I'm new to this! I don't know what works for me yet but I will try some of the ones that you've shown! Thanks once again. 😊
I agree about the OG's Oyin & Camille Rose Naturals. I use the Hair Dew from Oyin if a retwist is needed to stretch a style. And, Almond Jai from CR has been a fav since the beginning! Awesome list! 👏🏾
Thank you for creating this video! As someone who is a “new” natural (meaning actually starting to wear my natural hair), I’ve had the hardest time finding products that I like/work for my hair!! It’s been a very frustrating process!!
I love the latte leave in. It doesn't give me definition or anything like that. It detangles my hair so beautifully. It also moisturizes my hair soò well. It also mixes with every gel that I have paired it with. Its my fave❤. You would probably love it for a twist out
I really liked this review. I am returning to my curls after being loc’d for 5 years. I love wash n gos and trying to find what works in my hair now, tfs.
I recently tried the Cocoa Nibs and I’m a huge fan . I like that it’s not a heavy oil, the smell is amazing and most of all my hair loves it. I mostly use it on my edges and until now I didn’t know it stimulated growth but I did notice that my edges were thickening up and I actually have new hair where there was none. Now you got me interested in Oyin’s hemp deep conditioner that I’ve never heard of. Thanks for the video 💜
Right out the gate this was helpful!!! I didn't realize I could shop Black-owned products that would be available from other sellers; never occurred to me! This was informative and VERY helpful...even if I am only now discovering it.
TGIN is definitely a staple in my hair care routine. I love the deep conditoner, leave in and the shampoo is also great! Thanks for another great video
I loved that oil from camille rose, amazing ingredients. I have some now but since I don’t ‘seal’ with an oil anymore I use a little to break the gel cast and add shine to my wash n gos. Smells good too. Their lavender hair spritzer is a staple.
I snagged that TGIN product in the clearance section of my local grocery store today. I was so excited!! Your hair looks great. I wish my twists came out like yours.
Some of your favorites are also my favorites. All clutch brands . Camille Rose was part of my wash day today. My hair usually stays moisturized for the week using her products . Thanks for sharing.
I really enjoyed this video. I tried several of these products based on your recommendations. I love the Oyin Handmade Hair Dew and Ginger mint. I actually bought Obia Naturals curling custard from Amazon last year. I love this curling custard. I just took my hair down after two weeks in twists. The definition was amazing and I got a lot of compliments. I did not want to wash my hair.
I am a new natural, type 4 c and is looking for products without breaking the bank. I have got to try the Obia Naturals and Oyin products. Thanks for sharing . ❤️
I rocked with Oyin for years. I love the smell of the honey hemp line. I need to revisit. The Obia custard is my favorite topper gel. It's so easy to work with. The CRN spiked honey mousse is one of my favorites. I might revisit curl maker since I'm better educated on how to actually apply products.
💜💜 the shortcut to finding these textured hair products. As I clear out some of my current stash, I'll be sure to add some of these in. Tfs the BOBs as well. 🌿💐🌿
Thanks for sharing. I love your twists pulled back that way. I’ve chosen that style for resting my hair before I choose to unleash her on the world...lol
I definitely need to try the Obia Naturals custard. I've heard such great things about it. Camille Rose is my boo too. The smell of her products are divine! Yummm lol
I added the hair oil and green tea leave in to my cart. Once I finish a couple products I'll give them a try. I have high expectations since they received a good report on this channel. Thanks for posting!!
Thank you for letting us know how to find textured hair care products on Amazon. I have found some products by specifically searching for that product but never knew to look for them by category.
I never really gave much thought to using Amazon as an option to buy black owned hair care products but after watching this video I’m definitely gonna have to go over there and pick up some of the things you suggested in your video. Mind you I love and use all the Camille Rose products that you talked about.
I love Amazon and didn’t know I could purchase these products on there. I have been natural for many years and just did a big chop on last Saturday. Now I need to check out some more products. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the Obia Naturals deep conditioner recommendation. I, like so many curlies, am always looking for a balancing deep conditioner. I have used several of the products you mentioned over the last 10 years and the Oyin Ginger Mint CoWash is an old favorite. I have had the giant container in my stash for a long time. Unfortunately, I can't use any of the products containing coconut oil, since my hair hates it...
I loved Camille Rose buriti cholesterol treatment until they discontinued it. I haven’t tried a lot of the brands you mentioned but want to try obia naturals.
I want to try your combo with the CRN Latte Leave In and Almond Jai Twisting Butter…I bet it smells great. I’ve tried the Curlmaker a long time ago but may revisit it. It wasnt really a match with the GA heat and humidity! Wonder how The Dew pairs with it? Maybe too soft for a WNG? 🤷🏾♀️
I’ve been looking for a good curl refresher so I’ve already added that Obia Naturals one to my Amazon hair wishlist 🙂. I’ve also been wanting to try that Camille Rose coco nibs hair oil too!
Had no idea Amazon had a page w/"textured" hair products. I'll check it out. Agree re: Camille Rose Cocoa Nibs & Honey oil. Great product (and I've tried a lot of hair oils. My hair & scalp love oils). Also haven't tried Obia Naturals, but will check out that deep condish!
I’m a stan for Camille Rose and love the Coco Nibs oil for my scalp. I tried the Mielle but didn’t find it to be special and it spoiled on me whereas the Coco Nibs has lasted far longer.
I don’t hear much about Obia Naturals but they have become a staple. I use the Custard and Curl Moisture Cream. I’ve never tried the deep conditioner or refresher Sounds like a winner. Thanks for the info.
Great video and in case you didn't know on TGIN website the Green Tea Leave in now comes in a jumbo 32oz size. Thanks for mentioning the balancing conditioners.👍
Great video it was very informative. Obia naturals is one of the first brands I tried when I went natural. I love the twist whipped butter and my daughter loves the custard. The custard gives her definition for weeks. I have never tried anything from Oyin or TGIN but you have sparked my interest. I am looking forward to seeing the curl maker and mousse combo. You have inspired me to experiment with mousse and I must say I am loving it thus far. The Camille Rose Spiked Honey mousse is my fav. I wish I bought more on BF because it is turning out to be my go-to styler.
Thank you for the video. I never thought of buying hair products from Amazon because I am looking for a deal but a good way to get multiple items and save on shipping! "Buy this not mielle" 🤣🤣🤣
I literally just watched your Oyin Handmade review video from a few years back and was thinking does she still have the same feelings about the products now and then this video came out !!!!!!!!!!. However, how do you feel about the juice and berries leaven in hair tonic for hydration?
I tried the curl maker last night because I am still learning to use UFD. My wng is very soft, but defined. I will welcome bigness because I have fine tresses 😊I will head to ure videos to make sure I'm using the curl maker correctly.
I love Oyin hair dew, ginger mint cowash, the honey line and Camille Rose oil, almond jai, curl maker, butter gel. I have to put the latte leave in on my list, great video👏🏽
Thanks for the video. Your videos are always so informative. I’m new to this natural hair care thing so I really appreciate all the info you always give. I’m a product junkie right now because I want to try various products to see what works for my hair. Also, I have no clue about what ingredients are good in a product. I have a lot of these products sitting in my hair closet. It’s just so much that I haven’t gotten around to them yet. All I figured out so far was that water should be the first ingredient. 😕 I need to find a natural hair care stylist ASAP because so far it’s just you. 😂
Thanks for the heads-up on how to make a direct brand purchase on Amazon. I haven't purchased any Obia Natural's or Oyin yet but have them on my future purchase list. I have Camille Rose and TGIN in my stash and will be using them for the first time. I look forward to seeing the video with the Camille Rose Latté. 🥰
Thanks for the info on the Textures & Hues section on Amazon. I've heard good things about those brands you mentioned but I've only tried a few products from Camille Rose.
Thank you for this video. I,too, look to purchase black owned hair products. TGIN is definitely a staple for me. I love her Moisture Rich Sulfate Free Shampoo. I use it as a 2nd wash when I clarify my hair.
I LOOOVVEEE shopping on Amazon. So happy to know I can find all these products on there. I have tgin products I enjoy the honey miracle mask the leave in conditioner not so much. But you have peaked my interest in the Camille rose latte line. I’ve been looking for some new wash nd go products because my hair porosity has changed since I let all my grey hair out so I’m relearning why works for me lol.
That's a nice selection. I've tried the oyin hair dew but now that my hair is thinning, it's too rich for me. The smell is also too potent. I enjoy the Curl maker but like you I need a topper to get past day 4. I'm told that curlsmith in shower style fixer is a good option. I'll try.
Love, love LOVE Oyin Hair Dew - all time fav leave in / moisturizer! Also love Camille Rose but have not used Curl Maker yet. It’s in my stash; just gotta get to it 😜 Still waiting to hear your thoughts on Kinky Tresses. I absolutely LOVE the hair butter and oil. The brand doesn’t get enough hype in my opinion
Thanks for this video. I’ve wanted to purchase from Amazon but always stop because of reviews (product doesn’t seem legit, use or not sealed well ). I will use your tips
Informative video on black owned products . I been natural for two years big chop and all . I use Camille Rose mainly . I haven’t tried the Camille Naturals Strength Serum sounds like a great product. Thanks
Hello, here as promised. I am loving your channel. I have been thinking a lot about allow the perm to come out of my hair, and using natural products to care for it. I do wear a lot of wig and do not see the benefit of have a perm any more. Keep up the great work.❤
I love your information on all products that are out, soooooo I would like you to do me a Favor could you do a video on DHT hormone and any hair care products that can help with that. My hair is thinning in the crown and I would like to know what can stop or at least slow it down before it gets bad. Stay Blessed and see you next video😊🥰
Thanks for sharing! Have you ever tried any of the Curls brand hair products? Just curious. My scalp has been feeling dry itchy lately so I decided to purchase the blueberry mint hair oil from Curls. Not much to report, but it does make my scalp feel good when I apply it.
Yeah I seem to forgot Amazon has this! I typically order from sites where I get points, but Amazon shipping comes through! I have yet to try Obia Naturals it I do want to try the Babassu DC.
Okayy u always come threw with da scoop luv Camille’s oil ,also her other oil (from) around the world collection the blue 1 and hope she never sells her company ✌🏾
I've been meaning to try Oyin Handmade for years and years but It's too hard to get outside of America. I bought that Obia Naturals Custard because you tried it with Paul Mitchell leave in I think and really liked it but I can't get it to work for me. It will flake no matter what...I'll keep trying though, actually might top it with a mousse too like you're about to. I love Camille Rose, can't think of a brand who's been consistenly putting out great products for as long as them.
Great video how do you get your twists to stay straight overnight? My twist look great on the 1st day but once I sleep on them. They get bent. I would love to know your tricks.
I have been a natural for more than 10 years and I have yet to find a really really good conditioner for my hair. I have been doing way more research on my cleansing products with the thought that if my cleansing products are effective perhaps I'll have more success finding a conditioner that really helps my hair to be manageable. I have reduced using heavy butters and oils in my hair for some time now. I am curious about some of the products you mentioned.
Thank you for this! Another Black owned product that you can buy on Amazon is Uhuru Naturals. Love their scalp treatment Rapid Biotin & Black seed oil and scalp therapy!
