Hearing that you were a licensed mental health professional is the piece of the puzzle I was missing that must have drawn me to your channel. I’ve been dealing with depression and anxiety for almost 15 years and I feel very passionately about helping others who feel the same way. Although I take medication, sometimes I still have a bad few days but your videos cheer me right up and motivate me to get stuff done. I use the mesh laundry bags to keep our small clothes separate too. It started with COVID and the washing of all the masks. Then I realized how many other little things I could group together in their own bags and now I’m not walking around with a sock stuck to my pants or missing a bra liner (which need to either be secured in the bra or not needed). Chasing them around the dryer was a huge pain in the butt! But thank you again for all your tips and tricks and hacks that are so very useful in so many ways ❤
Hi Jodi so sorry you have depression and anxiety disorder a lot of people just do not understand they think you can just snap out of it. It's not fun trying to help them understand. You've probably heard about writing your thoughts in a journal each day going back to it seeing the difference in how your feeling from one day to the next. You should get some puzzles or do the adult coloring books take up a new hobby painting crochet sewing anything it will help keep your head free of the non stop thoughts that make you feel like you're going insane. When I was in my teen yrs I was in and out of the hospital for a couple yrs as I got older it seem to subside and would be just a bit of the depression here and there but the anxiety has never gone away I just talk myself out of it in my head till it has passed Now my daughter is dealing with both the depression and anxiety I worry about her. I hope you find someone or some way to help. You have a blessed day and great week and Easter. Take care of yourself. 🌹Elle 🌹
@@rickyclark4870 you talk yourself out of it. That's rich. Most people can't do that. The brain is very powerful and when broken needs help regulating with meds. Journaling daily and a trauma journal for writing down things that are troubling us is important.
@8:58 A mother after my own heart! I love how you are teaching your kiddos respect for property, it will pay off in so many ways in the future and your kiddos will be welcome where they travel.
Ditto! I had a neighbor who came over trying to get my son’s attention, took my wicker chair off my porch moved it to my sons window and stood in it and went right through it. When that didn’t work he stood on a concrete bench I had outside of my sons room and of course it fell over.
This is the way I get lotion on my back without having some type of cloth material soak up the lotion. I use a silicone spatula😉 It is flexible, it won’t soak up my lotion. I can spread the lotion all over my back and just leave the lotion on to soak into my skin. I looked at a cloth type of applicator for putting lotion on my back, but my thought was…It will just soak up a lot of my lotion. At least for me this works great! The flexible silicone spatula handle is long enough for me to reach all the spots on my back. I don’t have to put extra product on because a cloth type of material would just soak it up, the spatula just spreads the lotion across my back so I can use less lotion and let my skin soak up my lotion not the cloth. I hope this tip helps someone😁 - Melissa
The sock hack was truly a lifesaver when my kids were small. I got them to do it by making it into a game. Whoever had the most socks in their bag got to choose our movie & snack. If it was a tie, we got 2 movies/snacks.
That's wonderful to hear that you keep your children to have manners at your home as well as other peoples houses instead of expecting them to childproof their home from your children who you are too lazy to train. And I also congratulate you for being woman enough to let people know that you actually teach your children to behave. It is not very popular these days :-)
Guess what? My local Dollar Tree had that REALLY CUTE tiered tray in the Easter section. The day I was there, the Easter items in the Plus section were 50% off!! So, yes ma’am, I scored that little beauty for $2.50! 🎉Love your channel! ❤️
Hi Andrea! My favorite hack today was the baby wipes for cleaning window blinds and the dash of your car! What a brilliant idea! Car cleaning products are usually so expensive and you generally have one or two uses for them! Have a great week and I love your videos!❤
Yes! Great tips! I also use chopsticks with baby wipes on them twist with rubber band to hold. They get into all the air vents and littlr crevices and I use a kids toothbrush with vinegar for any channels where gunk accumulates. ( I use vinegar since it's antibacterial and any essential oil u like also I put a sponge wet with it on a plastic bag or meat tray or any plastic tub u can reuse before recycling. Place under seats in trunk, closets, basement to get rid of odors without toxic chemicals in most room scent products. Remember your car gets heated by sun and then you are there breathing in mold and poison perfumes use vinegar spray it all let dry and keeps bacteria which causes odor controlled. Put drops of same essential oil in a box of baking soda shake under your floor mats to keep smell from your dirty shoe bottoms. So spray tops with scented vinegar. Don't put big soda on top or with wetness will form a staining paste. You sometimes have wet shoes, umbrellas and food that leaves moisture and helps mold grow this helps too..
I've been using baby wipes to clean for years. It's amazing the dirt and grime they can clean off. My husband always laughs and comments about us using them on babies bottoms. Thanks for spending the news
First of all I want to say, that I enjoy watching your videos because you're always so upbeat and positive.. when you come up with the best hacks and tips.. I'm liking that baby wipe one.. never thought to use this on blinds.. And I'm digging the different hair/ wigs!! I agree, Have fun and live life... 👍😁👍😁👍🤗🤗🤗🤗💐💐💐💐
I use your idea with the hanging bar, shower curtinrings and the laundry bag in an entirely different manner. I hang it on my pantry door and store my potatoes, squash, garlic and onions. I just use a chain of the shower rings to create different lengths so they can hang one below the other. This allows air to flow through it, it provides a specific space for that type of produce and it looks really nice.
I am going to buy 1 of those over the door hooks and 1 of those laundry bags and place it in my hallway closet for my potatoes and get a shower cady with hooks and extend it to make my over the door hooks hang down longer so I can add another laundry bag for onions and garlic you can buy these at the dollar tree , dollar store this way you have better storage
I never thought to use my over the door bar (which I paid way more than I should have for) as a storage solution! Thanks for that tip 😊. Also your cross body bag hack for storage gave me the idea to slide my ice pack in the pocket and hang it over the chair back so I can have ice therapy without the icepack sliding away!
rain-X for the shower is my favorite; I used to use that when I had a huge clear-glass shower. Actually, I taught the maid service to use it. It sure beats having to squeegee every inch (and still having hard water stains). The only problem with it is the fumes are pretty toxic, so make sure you have the fan on, windows open, etc. when applying it.
I always have baby wipes on hand, and use them as wet napkins when we’re eating something messy, like chicken wings, corn on the cob, etc. MUCH better than plain paper napkins.
I'll need to get those Jobe's spikes my house plants all need to be graduated to larger pots and need more dirt so I'll grab those and give them some extra nutrition to help with the shock.
I like the cupcake holder but for other things like all the little things on the bathroom counter or all my essential oils. I didn't know that Dollar tree had odor ban in both the handy small size and the larger size. We usually get it in the half gallon size and that's awkward. I could refill the little one easily! Thanks sweetie! And it's good to play with changing your hair, after all it's one body part that grows back! I'm 70 and I sometimes go blue or red or green or all three! Love your videos! ❤
That messenger bag/satchel is really cute! Coming from a mom who has had to deal with this (thank goodness my daughter's grown out of it...I hope...😅), another great idea for it is if you have babies/toddlers/kids who are prone to motion sickness in the car, to put together an emergency kit in the event of an episode. Paper towels, baby wipes, garbage/vomit bags, a change of clothes, etc. ❤ Also, I had no idea that Dollar tree sells fertilizer spikes! That's awesome!
Hi Andrea, I enjoy how many things you cover when you have a video and move along. Keeps things interesting. I use the over the door towel rack for hanging hangers to dry bras, or things you need to hang to dry. I also take the rach apart and slip on a roll of paper towels. I hang spray bottles on the inside of the cupboard doors too. I live in a small house so room means alot. Thank you for all your tips.
I love your attitude, maybe one day I'll follow suit! I saw some temporary hair color and had the thought but didn't pull the trigger but wigs, now that I might be able to get behind (will have to get a major haircut first or plan on this being a winter time thing since summer means heat!). Yes, folks we really do only go around once! make the most of it!
You look very beautiful, as always! Love the hair. I love using baby wipes to clean. I don't have a kid, but I always have baby wipes. They are great for cleaning your toilet, and I mean everything but the bowl. lol The mesh bag to hold your plastic bags on the inside of your counter. Love this, and it's funny bc I was trying to figure out what to do with my plastic bags today. Love your channel so much!! Thanks for all the best tips 💜💜
Love the fun with your hair! I do that as well. Just snap in pieces here and there, I have a blast! My hair is very long so it’s easy to hide the add ons. LOVE the mesh bag idea for washing socks! No more pile of divorced socks is a dream come true. I use the one’s that stay behind to clean, husband uses them in his garage. (Yes, we have a his and her’s garage set up!) 😂 but after all these years, I’ve been tossing them. How many lonely sock piles does a house need?! Thank you for your fabulous energy. It motivates me, truly. ❤
I liked your hack for putting lotion on your back😊 I love your nail color! I always wear very sheer, natural polish. Yours is lovely. Would you share the brand and color, please? My little trick for fire starters is pretty much free. I stuff toilet paper rolls (once empty, of course) with the wads of lint from my clothes dryer. You can wrap newspaper around it and twist the ends; Pop it in your fireplace and it works like a charm!
Your pillow that had the saying "you are my sunshine" made me have one of the few good memories from my childhood. My mother always said that to me. Thank you
I discovered last week that spraying alcohol on my water-spot-covered glass shower doors and wiping them with a microfiber towel completely eliminated the calcified water spots which I have had to scrub so hard in the past to get rid of and/or put harsh chemicals on. Now that I have got the doors clean, I am definitely going to water seal the glass as you suggested to keep that water beading up and running off rather than drying and leaving hard water spots all over. I definitely think a Dollar Tree run is in order, and I will also definitely be making your DIY Powerwash for wiping down counters and cabinets. Thanks for all your great ideas and suggestions!
Love the DT wipes! I always have a pkg of them in my glove compartment. I use them for my grandchildren’s dirty hands and faces and I also use them to wipe down the dash etc., while in the school drop off line.
I love the hair!!! Your cleaning hacks with the baby wipes are awesome! Especially being able to use them in the car with no streaks appearing. Thank you for what you do!!! ❤
@14:30 I saw those holders! but only in yellow. I was impressed that they were made of metal, so if anyone is looking the quality is excellent and worth keeping for repeat uses. Great for those folks who are decorating tier trays in their office or home spaces, too,
I use the laundry bags for my husband and sons socks, they are also color coded.. One only gets black and the other has white socks..Makes my life easier..
Hi Andrea, I love your sense of humor it's awesome I can also relate to you my Mother in law has owned a maid service for 40 yrs now and I worked for her as a Supervisor off and on through out those 40 yrs I loved my job wom would tell me I was crazy liking it and all 😊
I like the lotioning up the back hack. I get especially dry in the middle of my back. This would make a good back scratcher too, since dry equals itchy. Thanks!
@8:06 our $Tree has on the lowest shelves in the body soap aisle larger containers of the soft soap so you may find your $1.25 refill soap of your dreams there...
Good evening, Andrea, I loved the floral wreath with beads you did. It looked really pretty, and bright. I am in love with the all purpose spray cleaner you made up. I used it to clean my stove and the vent above it, so easy, spray it on, let it set and with just a little elbow grease off came all the grease and grime on the vent and on the stove top, so easy. Then I used just a little petroleum jelly and (WOW!) what a shine, loved it. My husband said it looked like new, that alone says it all. I know this wasn't in the video today, but I had to tell you how great it worked. Thanks so much for sharing your great ideas, looking forward to hearing more.
I live odaban. I buy it in gallon size at home depot. Many scents and you mix different strengths for different purposes. Also use in laundry at times. Many uses and has performed well in all my uses.
I'm going to get baby wipes, so many uses and easy to grab. I use them when I'm crafting , remove my make-up , now for my blinds and other spots in my home.
There are so many uses for baby wipes. Years ago, a friend told me she uses baby wipes to clean up spills and accidents on her carpets and upholstered furniture. In some instances you might have to follow up with a little application of DIY stain remover afterward, but the wipes work so well. I use them to clean a sticky steering wheel in my vehicle as well as wiping up stains on car upholstery. I’m definitely going to try them out on my SS refrigerator door. Love watching your RU-vid videos. I’ve gotten so much good information watching you. Love all your hacks.❤️😃
Loved the baby wipes ideas. We don't have a baby, but we do have cars, fridge, blinds, etc. And the cupcake holder is next. I think I'll try it on bathroom counter to hold items. My Dollar Tree never seems to have items you show, but pretty sure they will have baby wipes. I've been looking for the over-the-door towel bar for 2 yrs now with no luck. Love your channel.
Luv the change it up I hear ya easier then color cuts at salon for sure options who doesn't luv them luv to c u n a shorter angeled layered bob one ....😊
Beautiful ideas as always. I love your helpful how to's. Ya know as you were saying use the small fire starter for ur fires... Well I use Lint , yes Dryer lint. It works perfectly . Best of all it's Free!!
I love Scrub Daddy products, so I will definitely be looking for the Brillo scrub squares. And, I love the Dawn Power wash too, and created my own, myself, a long time ago. It works the same as original and so cheap! I have already been mixing my own foaming hand soap. It is so much more efficient because you're not dropping globs of the regular soap and wasting it. Foaming soap is already lathered for you. I mix 3 parts water, and 1 part soap. Pour into your empty foaming soap bottle and turn back and forth to mix it. I buy the large refills, and save a ton. Sometimes I buy a nice scented regular soap and mix it getting many bottles of something 'special'.
Love the door bar for the bags. I will be doing it fie the bathroom and thw one of the socks that was very good loved ❤ it. Oh the other one I will be trying is the one of the cream for the back
The first zip bag I got the butterfly 🦋 one and I use it to take my glucose meter and meds with me to work aswell as the snacks if needed 😊👍👍I also use a lot the other things aswell 😊Love the Dollar Tree 😁
I almost don't want anyone to know about this. My Dollar Trees don't have a plus section. Pity. Purchasing items online comes with risk of having to purchase too many, or having the item damaged on delivery. I noticed Family Dollar was a sister store to Dollar Tree. I visited one of my local Family Dollar and found some of the Dollar Tree plus items there. In addition I also found many items more affordable than Dollar Tree! Like toothpaste, some craft, etc. It was like shopping Dollar General.
I bought one of those purse bag things in leopard print and used it as a purse and it actually held up amazingly! I actually still have it somewhere... It's still in good condition too!! Love it!!
