props to Mogely, watching a game of skate with a cheep broken ducktaped back together with a 2x4 board is more entertaining than with just a cheap board.
Here's a crazy thought for anyone who stumbles across this. Just imagine that if the world lasts for another 100 years people are going to look back at us and wonder what this obsession was with riding wood with wheels. They'll laugh at us while riding hover boards while on vacation on the moon.
as if hoverboarding on the cappy moon is a replacement for real skateboarding on the earth with its fire gravitiy and all. more realistic is, that humanity has fu***** up earth and rebuilds a simulation with skateboarding on earth because it was so nice
@@Scott-sx9qq Did you really just turn a random thought into toxicity and now you're attempting (Poorly may I add) to insult me? You're projecting your insecurities onto me. At least we know now who doesn't get invited to parties.
I dunno, he seems more like a rollerblader. The inline ones with a breakpad mounted behind the huge wheels. “exercise rollerblades” with a pair of ski sticks.
An 8 year old kid drops in from higher DROPS than me on that SAME SKATEBOARD, and the tail is 50% ruined. I am considering giving him my skateboard (Madrid deck, REDZ bearings, GIRL wheels, and blank trucks) So he can actually learn how to skate better. Because he is sooooo talented. Next time I see him, I will talk to his father and ask him if he will accept it.
Some Amazon boards aren't bad. I got my longboard 11 months ago for 60 dollars + a free skate tool. Still strong after 4 rainy storm rides. I can probably push it to last another 6 months and 2 floods before i replace the bearings and the board😂 In Jeff i trust (sometimes)
I think Gabe needs someone to take over on the cam full time, so he can get some hours down on his board, practice some street, vert etc so he can join in on these games. Do a vid series following the progress!
Bezos was "very nerdy" as a kid according to his words. So I think its less likely he was ever skateboarding and more likely he was playing chess or doing his math homework.
@@masterroshi4714 maybe in an alternate universe. Surfer dudes in Cali created and popularized skateboarding. I never heard of anyone consider them nerdy.
I just bought a new board but the wheels are pretty slow? I bought it from skate hut and have ridden it for a couple of days but the wheels are very slow, can anyone help?
Your boards are not that much more expensive? Yours are 3 times the cost of the Amazon one. >.> $30 vs $90. O.o That is a bit of a difference. Then it climbs to over $130.
@1:28 why does the male brain have this uncontrollable impulse to punch a box when someone puts it on their head? I felt it at exactly the same moment Rick almost did it before realizing it was JD in there 😂
I’ve been skating a £30/$35 board for 4 months the deck is destroyed on both tales and today a crashed and the plies cracked a bit so ima get new one 😢
Whats funny is that if a delivery person is also a fan of you guys he can help you with opening boxes before you get them haha. Not like they give any care . Oh this is going to braille oh we can mess this box up. No joke.
IMO, cheap boards serve their purpose. Take a basketball for example, an official NBA Wilson Basketball is 199.99. But if you're just buying one just to shoot around in the park, you can get a Spalding for 19.99. Sure if you're getting serious you would want to spend the big bucks, but for families with less money, or for someone who just wants to give it a shot, cheap products serve their purpose.
This is true, what we don't like is when a first time skater tries one of these and it won't roll and tricks are hard so they give up. Gotta find that cheap board that actually skates and then boom, magic
I landed my first Ollie today thanks to you guys I never would have even gotten a board if I didn’t end up watching skateboarding made simple thank you guys
Mogley s right tho if you wanna get into skating there’s no point of wasting your money on this when you could save up your money and have something that will last a long time
