@Sharon Newman It is Catholic dogma that the Blessed Mother was assumed into heaven, body and soul. So she is both physically and spiritually alive in Heaven.

His honesty is driven by the Church's formal education and formation in Sacred Tradition ( .. which is rooted in Christ Himself, Who is "the Way, the Truth, and the Life" .. fully Divine, fully Human .. Founder of the Church through ordaining His Apostles at the last Supper. His Mother, "Our Lady", coached them for the first fifteen years or so after her Son's Ascension.). WHAT education/ formation?? .. a seven to thirteen year course in "Faith and Morals": philosophy, theology, ethics, Liturgy (right worship), Church history, the Sacraments, "the four last things" every teaching (inerrant Dogma) found in the Deposit of Faith (contained and guarded in the Roman Catechism and in St.John Paul II's Catechism Of The Catholic Church). "An honest Christian" -man or woman -without such formation under a legitimate Catholic Bishop is incapable of delivering the Truth such as this Priest has just done. We can't get around doing thorough "homework". I'm a former Jesuit Seminarian, received the ( very basic) Philosophy segment, but got no further, because I was told I didn't have a vocation to the Jesuits. However, what I DID receive has stood me in good stead, because it had taught me how to think clearly and "with the Church" on essential teachings and rooting out errors, which this Priest (God and St. Peter, the Saints, and the Agnels support him!) has delivered "in spades." I've just turned 75, i.e. older ... and wiser because of that Ignatian formation! Thanks be to God .. and His Blessed Mother. She coaches us too! .. simply consecrate your whole being to her Immaculate Heart. We'll she steer you into errors? Of course not. "Mary doesn't look to your past. She comes to those who WANT TO LOVE HER." (St. Gabriel Possenti, 1838).

There are ways of saying that a faithfully and well trained Catholic priest should be respected and revered for his erudition and certainly for the unequalled position he holds as a bearer of the indelible mark of God upon him. Yes I do need to know and love Jesus more and more, the Lord Jesus who said "Whosoever eats my Flesh and drinks my Blood will have eternal life" (He would not have mentioned Flesh and Blood if Our Lord was referring to being fed by Scripture alone) . If not in the Catholic Church, where can I find Jesus who said "I am with you always, even until the end of age" ? If not the Catholic Church, where can I find Jesus who said "Upon this rock, I will build my Church" if not the Catholic Church?

Peter Zani man don’t I know it. Our 10:00 Sunday Mass is ALWAYS said EF (TLM). My kids probably don’t realize just yet how good they have it. Imagine this, if you will. My kids have no idea how to participate in a New Mass. They only know the Latin Mass! They have NEVER held the Eucharist. They have only ever received kneeling on the tongue. Thank you Lord in heaven for such blessings.

watchmkr100 I pray hopefully in our lifetimes none of us have to travel such distances to attend TLM on the regular. We actually drive through one Parish to get to St. Joan of Arc which is 25 miles from us. So, surely not 84 miles but would be lovely to be even closer.

if you think the pope is an anti pope, that's all the more reason to pray for him, because he is a man in grave danger of going to hell and leading many others with him. Also, I'd be very careful about calling him an anti pope, although it seems very likely, things are not always as they seem, and uncertainty is better than being a possible heretic.
