Dirubai Ambani got Mukesh ambani married to an ordinary school teacher. Yet Mukesh ambani continued to progress and has grown so much and 1000x his fortune. Lee Kuan yew saying of getting married in same class doesn't make sense .
I don't it make a difference if you or your partner is higher than you in status, education or higher authority. It depends on your partners ego and personality in accepting as you are and your values. Eg, Malani and Yugi no fuss, happy relationship. My hubby is high grade Dr and I am a housewife but he values and respects my job highly as what keeps our family together with no fuss.
It's very subjective topic. Should you and your partner match in terms of education wealth etc. It really comes down to your purpose in life as a couple and individually. For example if someone cannot change their standards and subjected to society pressures to maintain certain standards ( many a times we see this in families that have generations of wealth and command high level of influence) than off course these elements matter. There is also a segment of people who are not subjected to such pressures and are more Liberal in choosing partners and have improved their life standards. If everyone follows Lee Kuan Yew's advice, the gap between the wealthy and educated vs poor and uneducated would have been huge.
Malini please create a video on how people born on numerologically number 1 such as on date 1, 10, 19, 28 are very much successful compared to others .. I agree about the education different in marriage my friend had only secondly school education and she loved and married to a poly guy and after a few months of marriage her in laws and her husband comparing her with others girls saying that he would have married to a teacher or other poly girl and when the husband brought the wife to his family day he will make the wife sit outside the function area when the baby was delaying my friend and her husband when to see the doctor and the doctor checked and said that the husband has low spam count and was given medcian but the husband told his friend like the wife has the problem and he defends his friends wife make fun of his wife in front of his friends

His "income" is massive and thus their expenditure can never be equated with the common man's.
