It feels like a mockery of women who endure actual abuse. It’s also a vivid, triggering reminder of all the gaslighting in my own experience with an abusive narcissist. In my opinion, Johnny was by no means an angel - because no one is perfect. But he doesn’t have the track record Amber does! It’s a shame that jury wasn’t allowed to hear testimony that she was arrested for DV. Abuse is a pattern. Amber’s aggression can be seen in live videos with her sister and with Johnny when they overhauled her car. Why is it that NONE of JD’s former partners had anything negative to say about him? It angered me to hear her say that she wants to be a voice for abuse victims when she is so obviously the perpetrator. I just can’t get on board with backing her based solely on the fact she’s a woman. My heart goes out to Johnny and I hope he finds a way to cope with the abuse he’s suffered, as well as the substance issues. As far as this video…. The only WOW I felt was.. the nerve of Amber to bring back this overdramatized testimony version of herself, wanting to be a “voice”. Abuse survivors don’t need your voice Amber!

I’ve seen DV and I myself have experienced DV severe enough that I had a broken finger among other injuries. I also know that may DV victims have experienced way worse than I ever did. When I see Amber heard’s her claims don’t add up with facts. AH could not produce one legit medical record. Also a women dependent on her face and body for her entire livelihood would be getting medical treatment for a broken nose even if it’s only a potentially broken nose. I believe AH tried to utilize the Metoo movement to enrich and benefit herself in multiple ways

She has confidence, self esteem, jobs, support and money. she could have left at any time... It's BS. If I had been abused for 5 years by a spouse and finally got out of it I wouldn't want to date anyone for quite a few years until I had sorted myself out and had some serious help from psychologist to help.overcome what happened to me so it never happened again.
