The crazy part is that if she had owned up to even a little bit of her behavior and not laid it on so thick with her claims, that she had zero proof of, this probably would have had a much different outcome. The problem is that she proved herself to be so incredibly unreliable, that it calls into question EVERYTHING she has said, even the most minor of accusations. I don't know how her lawyers did not prepare her better, because she did herself no favors by saying that she has never assaulted any of her partners when there is audio of her admitting she hit Johnny. She could have said "yeah, I lashed out physically too in reaction" or ANY excuse, but she went straight to "I never ever did anything like that ever!"

My baby’s mother is so shockingly similar it sends chills down my spine. Always gaslighting and accusing me of things I never did along with mental and physical abuse. I don’t want to leave because I don’t want her alone with my kids. I have absolutely no clue what to do. Thing is with narcissist they actually are very nice to talk to when you first initially get along and meet them. Pathological Liars don't have a conscious. I was married to one at one time. He destroyed my life. I was lucky to get away from him alive. He is a narcissistic psychopath. Last I heard he'd been married/divorced 6 times. This should be a class in high school on mental illnesses and to recognize them so innocent people don't get caught up in their web of lies.

I don't understand that Johnny's lawyer doesn't question why she's documented everything so much? Is it normal in a relationship to photograph, record conversations and film the most private things without having a planned ulterior motive? I get the feeling this is a gold digger at hers fingertips who wants Johnny's money.

I get what you're saying, but in real domestic violence cases, having video evidence is vital. So many domestic violence cases are basically open shut when one party has video evidence of the physical assaults. Secretly taping the assaults is how these cases are solved. Therefore, arguing against secretly filming your partner (implying ulterior motives for the filmer) isn't a strong argument.

I believe their relationship/marriage counsellor suggested they record each other’s conversations. Hence why Johnny also has recordings of amber. I could be wrong. But amber could have taken that to another level. Recording everything that makes Johnny look bad and nothing that looks good. Showing a one sided “view” essentially. Thinking that alone would sway friends family maybe the court and public to her side should she ever need it.

This is proof that Amber is in her own reality. Very clever of her lawyer. The jury maybe doesn't know this story. They also may not know that Amber is a lesbian. She clearly prefers women and was pretending to love Johnny for his money. In movies the story goes that they really fall in love and they change their plans. Instead of betrayal they discover real love and happily ever after. Not with Amber. So bad for Johnny. He is a good soul.

There seems to be a subtle change in the judge's disposition toward the case. She seems to slowly be tilting towards Depp more unlike at the start when she came off rather hostile
