My goal with this little “project” was to fix all my issues with Amber Island to help me like it more. I’ve never been a big fan of Amber Island, nor have I even been a little fan. I thought it struggled a lot with transitions between verses. The way that the monsters sounds just fade out into nothing and then the new verse just suddenly pops in… something felt suuuper off.
In the end, I wouldn’t say this “fixes Amber Island” nothing I could do would “fix the song”. But it was fun to tinker with a song I wasn’t a fan of originally. I like this version quite a lot, but it’s not really high up there with the rest of my remixes

And no the “new verse” they added at the end with the final update didn’t “fix the song” either lol. My issues was with the main bulk of the song and how it awkwardly transitions between sections, adding a brand new section at the end literally fixed 0 of the problems I had with the original. It just made the song longer lol. I like the new part, don’t get me wrong. It’s kinda cool how they went back and added a “remix” verse bc the fans were whining.
Also, calling it now. The animation issue with Krillby and Sneyser in the “remix verse” will never be fixed.
